More Admins?

A few days ago, me and a friend were talking about having more admins on the server. Namely to help out with enforcing server side rules there and then, where applicable. As well as having Admin around on the server more. I know the current Admins do a very hard job, and I know they try to be in the server as much as possible on there [Admin] tagged ships.

Back to the discussion me and a friend had, was that what if we could try to get an admin for each timezone, or two. Which would hopefully allow at least one Admin tagged Admin to be online in the server at any one time.

I think it is really a great idea if we could have more admins, allowing the increased likeness of seeing one in game.

What do other people think?

Edit: Almost forgot, how should we get these new admin, if it we decide more is beneficial.

few more guys who will kep an eye on raids and ballance would be fine, I tired to see how enemys joins together against another one and after that one dies those two dont shoot eachother...

i dont think real admins are needed in larger numbers, but id like to see given the angles more powers,
like the ability to kick people, to saveguard planned evends and stuff like that, some of the server commands, so they could handle random killjoys.

The Administrators have already publicly asked members of the community who wished to join as admins/moderators a few months ago to PM a template application for it, and as far as I know, those that are in view for the job are being watched by the admins to determine if they may or may not be fit for the job. Some have already been selected (Zelot, Dash, Tanker, Prowler, etc).

Given the original creator of this mod is Russian, I doubt your ethnicity makes any real difference to your chances.

In my opinion, there are plenty of admins already...as for me being an admin...

...hell no. I enjoy being just a player. Though I do salute those who take up the admin flag. Kudos.
