The Guild Core has been observing the deteriorating situation in the lower Omicrons for a long time now, and we have come to the conclusion that it would now be prudent to take a stance on the matter.
The station of Freeport 11 resides within our borders, and though past transgressions have occurred, in recent times the resident Zoners have proved civilised, reasonable and welcoming to all, and have aided the Guild Core when necessary. The Corsair Empire now seems to be bent on expanding its influence in the lower Omicrons at the expense of you, the Zoners. As such, we have elected to intervene where possible, and will continue to defend the system of Omicron Delta, and all law-abiding citizens and innocent civilians within.
The system shall, under our guardianship, remain a safe haven for all Zoners, civilians and citizens of the houses who wish to seek refuge from the current chaos, or come in search of a new life. Any refugees from nearby stations and systems will be welcomed in the system, and anyone seeking to permanently escape the troubles is welcome to settle in the Guild Core outpost on Planet Nauru. No Corsair presence will be permitted within Omicron Delta, and Freeport 11, it's neutrality and the civilians within shall be adamantly protected by the Guild.
While we are not currently able to send our grand fleet to aid you in Omicron Theta, we shall maintain and defend the free system of Omicron Delta, and should you require any other services from the Guild or the Core, you need but ask.
