During the next week, all characters who didn't log in at least once since January 2006 will be deleted.

If you have old characters that you wish to preserve, log in once. Several seconds online will be enough to preserve character from deleting.

Of course, this won't be of any use if we'll have to wipe all players for 4.79 installation.

So, there will be no player wipe, for as long as the beta was installed on main, no major errors relating previous versions stuff was detected. Good news, surely.

But there will be wipe. Only characters that logged in at least once since February 1 will stay on server. Those who did not log in since that time will be deleted without refund (may make a few exceptions if there will be a good reason).
