It surprises me that you and your men didn't notice the battleship earlier. But anyway... Pamiers has a long history and went through a lot of things. The capture of the Pamiers wasn't easy, as you could imagine. Nevertheless, our troops eventually managed to board the ship. The conquest of the ship took less than an hour, but the crew of the ship managed to disable several systems. Moreover they erased information about the experimental forward gun during the capture. Information that are left about the forward gun are protected with a tricky firewall, that makes it pretty hard to get anything out of the gun. But rest assured, our engineers and specialists are working on breaking the firewall to get the information we need. Until that is done, I am afraid, I cannot give you anything from your request.
But on the other hand... tell me, why should we hand out a technology with such a powerful effect? What use could you have for it? Enlighten me, monsieur.
**It was only within the past 48 hours I ordered the Grande Guillotine and several other craft to the Roussillon system outside of moi time 'ere in Les Liberty, and it was then that one of them made the discovery...And within that time such was found...I am more than aware of the safeguards that the Royalist's procure onto such craft and am already underway onto idea's on how to break such systems, though it will take time, time in which is in short supply nowadays**
**As of late, the Legion has been into deep relations with the Les Libertonian group Deep Space Engineering, they specialize in craft as such and I 'ave personally allowed them to sample and work with a few bits and pieces of a few Royalist craft that the Legion has available...Within due time, they're work may even allow us to use the few remaining pieces of Royalist weaponry, also blocked by the same firewall's**
**I would rather have instead of a few men working on such, in turn with a full company and even government's greatest minds work onto such to help unlock these difficult puzzles we 'ave with us...You 'ave moi word that the moment such firewalls come down, I will personally send the reguarded data back fully decrypted, from moi hands to yours**
It is, indeed, of great advantage when we have as much people as possible for the decryption of the firewall. That also reminds me to contact a few additional specialists that can help at decrypting the firewall. So all in all, if there is anything new, we will contact you about it... we'll keep in touch.

**The main purpose of such is to bring the Grande Guillotines main guns back online, along with other craft as well, no need to pressure you with such details when you 'ave more then enough problems on your already overfilled plate**

The question can be easily answered. We are a military group and a military group uses classified or captured weaponry to get an advantage over the enemy. However, it is new to me that a group, such as the Legion des Damnes, has such a desire for this technology, even though you are not a military group that could require these advantages in a war.
Also, there are other ways to get the weapons of the Grande Guillotine back online and it would eventually have the same result. All in all it would be easier, faster and less expensive. I am sure you can imagine how much it would cost to modify all these technologies in order to make them fit into your ship. It would consume a lot of time to make these things work... Time that we do not have.

I think you forgot that the costs would be mainly for us. As far as I know, the Legion des Damnes do not have any shipyards or facilities to maintain, refit or repair their capital ships. You come to us when you require these services for your capital ships. It is self-explained that those services are time consuming and expensive. Both, time and the money are needed elsewhere. It looks like you forgot in which situation we are.
Let me give you an advice, monsieur. Open your eyes, you need us as much as we need your help against the Gallic Royal Forces. But I am not obliged to deal with neither you nor the Legion des Damnes in general. You are overstepping your borders, so to say. Especially to question General Du Lac's decision wasn't pretty wise. Do that again and you will find yourself in a very uncomfortable situation.
