Australia has awesome beach weather, they have bikini models as parking officers, they love to party, they love rugby, and finally, because of this man:

One day I will have a holiday in Australia, and I want to shake that man's hand.

I too have a new-found respect for Australians.

Incidentally, I remember a story about my dad when he was in the military, he was on R&R and he met up with some Australian soldiers who he decided to stick with, and uh...

Well, the Aussies got them all kicked out of the hotel they were in because they thought it'd be an awesome idea to jump from the balcony outside their room into the outdoor pool below. XD

Australia's military has some awesome folks in it, clearly.

:ylove::ylove::ylove:

xD

Edit: I also see nothing wrong with kids being supervised by -soldiers- learning how to shoot rifles.

Well truly, you are only living in a free society when the only people with guns are the criminals.

I agree. Have someone trained properly show them how to do it and they will earn a healthy respect for weapons such as rifles, and they won't learn about them in video games and think its only a game.

I’ll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because it’s flag that I love
And a flag that I trust

"This is a great idea" is a pretty common australian saying, normally afterwards you look back on said idea and say "That was stupid... but fun, let's do it again!"

And yes that is the best comeback ever.
