Bounty Hunter Ships

Now that we have BH Battlecruisers.. isn't it time all those people with Liberty Carriers went and got one?

This is the second time in two days that I've come across with a *DW* tagged ship with a bounty hunter ID and a Liberty Carrier for a ship. To my understanding, Liberty Carrier's aren't publicly sold on the market, (and if they're on the black market, BH's shouldn't have them). Both times I was told that the people who got the ship got them when there were no BH capships.. well.. what do we do now? It's kind of irritating to see BH's in LC's, IMO.

This is more of a universe-wide problem, I'm sure... OORP ships and all. How should this be dealt with?

Oh yeah, and sorry about making so many posts in this forum. Haha.

While I would rather see them in BHG ships, I'd still rather see more of them in smaller ships. Nonetheless, they certainly shouldn't be flying around Liberty carriers, whether or not they end up in BH battleships. To deal with this, I think the SA and LSF should get involved in getting them out of the OoRP Liberty ships unless they have a very, very good reason why they're flying one. BH in Liberty capships should at least be questioned about how and where they got the ship.

*DW* you said? Wow, they have a massively bad track record at this point... jeepers. PM them on the forums about it, if you get a nice response then leave it at that. If a not so nice response, then we may have to petition admins to force them onto the Spring Cleaning...

They have been asked, The answers i got were either "this ship is better" or "i got this ship when we had none"

I agree. BH's also have BH battleship and have for over a year now.Yes it has less armour then a carrier,but it perform's a whole lot better.( i know i have had both) I think BH's should fly BH ship's only, just like hessiens fly hessien ship's/corsair's fly corsair ship's/Rheinland fly Rheinland ship's and so on.
I have also encountered a BH in a Rheinland cruiser. When asked he/she said it was because it is better. Well if you want a Rheinland cruiser go Rheinland.i have all my corsair's in corsair ship's/my trader's in train,s my smuggler in pirate train. This is RP, if you want something,RP it.

I've asked them in-game why they had the ship (OOC, of course), and got the answers:

Person 1: "this one is better"
Person 2: "We had this ship when there were no good BH ships, so we can keep these"

Or something around those lines. The first one is a direct quote though. Haha.

I honestly thought that was an exaggeration the first time. Guess not.

No need to PM, I cannot force them to do anything. You may want to follow Treewyrms advice and post a formal, polite request on the forums. If they don't do anything then perhaps we may be able to see what can be done. But as it stands requesting they post a Faction Status review is the best way to go down that path. Having said that before any action is taken I'd suggest PMing DW-Suzanna as she is in charge of the faction.

also might want to mention the bounty hunter battlecruisers constantly invading gamma.
we had 6 battlecruisers attack gamma today SIX. not a fighter in sight, just S.I.X. battlecruisers.
