Those of you who are in regular contact with me, or who have me on skype/xfire or whatever it is, may have noticed my continual and more or less constant absence.
You may lead a faction I am in, and have noticed my complete lack of tagged activity.
To put it bluntly, I am leaving Discovery for what i firmly believe is forever.
You know, I never thought I would be writing this post, never thought that the chatter and forums and back-and-forth and good times had would eventually bore me.
I searched for something like this community on the internet for a long time before i got here.
But I AM bored.
Hell, I was bored with the game a long time ago.
I haven't logged more than ten hours total on my ships, all of them, since....gods, september of last year?
I've taken several disco breaks every time i felt the malaise of boredom creep over me, each one lasting longer and longer, and each time i came back i got less involved.
This time, I barely even logged or did much besides argue in dev subforum.
I realized that I was done here well over two months ago, but i've been putting off making it final for so long.....
Oh well.
I've been playing MW3 and I renewed my WoW subscription, playing TF2 and Spiral knights and I haven't missed any of Disco.
Anyhow, i guess this is the part where i thank people for all they taught me and whatever.
The Brotherhood....Zelot, McNeo, Joe, Werss .....you guys showed me everything about Disco RP when i first showed up here. You all made me fall deeply madly in love with the Corsairs and that really defined everything i did here.
Greg......You and your factions, your wonderful factions gave me far more enjoyment than anything else. The [M] and IC| are just.....fantastic.
TS| Yeah i still got love for you guys :ylove:
Snak3....well you're gone too, but for so long you were my absolute best disco friend.
Russell....... oh the fun we had with shenanigans.
Miranda and the rest of the TF7 crew...................One of the few things i will miss, the absolutely epic battles we got ourselves involved in. Krieg!
To the SCRA, and all those cool cats....... MY time with you was short, unfortunately, cut short by....well that's in the past, now isn't it?
But it was great while it lasted (I still wish I could fly a Storm just once *sigh*).
Dane.....we've had some great chats. I hope I enlightened you on a few points of Disco politics.
Probably haven't though, not exactly the greatest teacher.
To the Old Guard.........Yeah, that was a long time ago, and we didn't hold out too long, but we accomplished mission number one and managed to blow up the Fleet Admiral's BS in the process :laugh:
To all my various informants and spies and agents....
You know what we managed to build, and we kept it secret too. Don't stop on my account. There's still two jobs on the books, and you all are more than capable.
Everybody else I've interacted with...
You know who you guys are, and are far too numerous to mention, but my love to all of you.

I think that's about it, or at least, all that need be said.
