Cargo Piracy

Hi, I want to get a large transporter for light trade + some cargo piracy. So far I have narrowed it down to:

1. Bret Liner on a Privateer ID

2. L'Ane on a Corse ID

3. GAT on a Corse ID

Does anyone have experience in how these ships perform in terms of piracy, i.e. when facing transports? And how do they fare compared to the classic (and classy) Ptrans? I am curious about the Bret Liner in particular, seeing that the model is somewhat large and only has 9 turrets.

I have faced a Bret Liner on my Prison Liner and...that thing is purdy scary too. Arcs seem nice, it's got a good tonne of armour.

Why not renzu? It has less armour but a lot more firepower.

I had a Pilgrim Liner on my junker character, and it was awesome (I killed a noob IMG gunboat pilot in it), I just want to try something new. I think I am going for the Bret Liner then, I just hope it is not too cumbersome. The ID is kinda interesting too.

But the Renzu is as big (and costly) as a BS, and it doesn't have a CD afaik.

Get a Bret royal liner, Get a Cau 8 and a Pirate ID.

Pirate the crap out of anything and everything you see.

The thing is a tank, which can hold off 4+ snubs at a time.

I love it.

Working on it now, although I am going to be modest and get the Privateer ID and just pirate the crap out of everything non-bretonian:-) What turrets do you use? I have been planning on getting the type 3's (2.0 fire rate).
