Good Morning Sirius this is a Colony News Broadcast.
Earlier today fierce fighting broke out near planet Junyo in Shikoku, our reporter saw three Liberty Rogue vessels in direct confrontation with noble Hogosha Black Dragons. The final result was that the Hogosha drove back the Rogues towrd Deshima station where they were subsequently destroyed. However this is telling of a larger and more recent problem in the Shikoku system, that of full blown gang warfare. Rogue assets have been springing up in formerly Hogosha controlled areas, bringing with them drug and prostitution related activities. Hogosha insiders claim this is a direct result of recent decline in Hogosha activity. A Kusari state trooper is quoted as saying "It's full blown war out there, the two sides refusing to give ground." It is evident the Rogues see new opportunities from the now dormant Kusari House. How long this war continues depends entirely on the resources sent to beat the foreign invaders back.

In related news a new Gallic threat has appeared in the midst of Kusari, Gallic Brigands have been seen pirating in Kyushu, robbing traders and running off before KNF forces have had a chance to mobilise. KNF sources reveal that the Brigands seem to be basing themselves out of the Taus. The Farmers Alliance have decried this new invasion of foreign criminals as symptomatic of the new Kusari administrations approach to foreigners. "Invite gaijin into our home, and they will briing in their own filth." Why the Gallic pirates have chosen to make Kyushu a home away form home is unknown though government insiders believe it may have something to do with the Golden Chrysanthemum movement.

This is to notify the general playerbase that new ZOI restrictions are placed upon the Liberty Rogues and Gallic Brigands.
  • Liberty Rogues may now pirate in Shikoku and New Tokyo. However Rogue Cruisers will not be allowed within those systems.
  • Gallic Brigands may now pirate in Kyushu and New Tokyo.
Feel free to yarr it up. Hogosha, you're now in a full blown turf war with the Rogues. Feel free to gun them down. KNF will need to respond to the arrival of French pirates. Le Yarr and all that.

Ooh a very interesting turn of events.

Ziggy, the Kishiro ships are in trouble now aren't they? Like more than norm.

Care to explain why the Liberty Rogues should be allowed to pirate in Kusari core system?

Shikoku is fine, as it's more of a turf war with the farmers there based on the lore, but how or why would they try their luck sneaking past the BHG, Kusari Lawful, Hogosha, Farmers and Dragons (Yea, if they decide to get that close they might get in trouble with Dragons) just to pirate in NT while the Liberty and its bordering systems already offers them a good enough pirating ground?

If it was added to increase the Kusari lawful activity level, you totally got the issue wrong. The issue with Kusari lawful side is not their lack of opponent, it's their refusal to fight their main opponent - The Dragons. Back when they still had Leeds to raid, that was where they got most of their activity from, and now that they can't do it anymore, they're simply dying off. I can actually count decent members of the lawful side who are not refusing to fight the dragons on one hand. That's the issue, not "lack of stuff to shoot".

I'd rather not comment on the Brigands though, and instead wait and see how that works out... Even though I was under the impression that Brigands can pirate in Kyushu, cause they've been doing it anyways.

I hate Kusari play-style myself, and won't play it myself, but love it when others do. I drag my smuggler through Kusari on a regular basis, and it's always dead. This'll be nice to increase some Kusarian RP by giving them someone to RP with on a semi-regular basis. Let's hope it works.

I was formerly know as Spiritar.

It's been a while.
