I remember the Liberty combat music being so choppy and lackluster techo I just had to turn it off. There was even a "whoop" part in the combat music that sounds a lot like your shields coming back on line, but its not. Also various space system music is dull and not worth my time or ears.
I'm going to try to move some music files from the game and replace them with renamed Immediate Music files of the same format. Has anyone done this? Experienced any issues?
Sometimes, when all you want is to gain your freedom, you must be willing to risk it all.
After hundreds hours of playing with native FL music....well imagine.
Once I replaced all ambient music with tracs from eve online...sounds well, and gives a uniq *atmosphere* to each region. Also all combat music I replaced with Immediate music tracks...All you need is just to convert sounds in a right format via any software able to do so.
The format should be .wav, if I am right, or .wma - it was year ago, so I don't remember. Just check the otiginal music.
I don't like the Freelancer music. It bores me to death. (All but the Gallic tunes, though I can't listen to em every time I go there)
I tend to just listen to normal music whilst am ingame. With music off. But then that doesn't turn the music fully off as it pops on several times, and you have to re-adjust the volume again, again.
That reminds me. Since I lost old FL music and sound files which I used, I'm gonna have to re-do everything again. And I just want to kill myself when that comes to my mind.
