So a good friend of mine surprised me the day before by sending me a giftie code to Minecraft, a game I have played, but never really bought. So...ye. Anyone plays?

NO! Q_Q it gives me a headache. I actually get a headache from the large pixels as strange as it sounds. It was fun while it lasted though xD.

I play it on and off, I have a good bit of fun with it.... can't build things as nearly as complex as some of my friends manage to make though.

When playing it you are going to need the wiki up because the crafting formulas are nearly innumerable.
Not sure what tips I could offer you starting out... don't dig straight down or up I guess, you could fall into a cave or just suffocate from a bunch of sand caving in on you.

Also you can make custom skins in the game as well, you don't see third person view much but you see your guy's hand an awful lot so you do notice it in first person

When I actively played Minecraft, part of the fun was figuring out the new formulas and content myself, as opposed to looking them up. (Except when I was -really- frustrated.)

Might want to hold off on looking up everything and experiment with some stuff yourself! It was part of the fun for me. Might be for you.

Yeah, a lot of new stuff was added since I last played. I instantly made a house on the tallest jungle tree I could find.
