Watering Holes - Why are they so dead?

Seriously. I wonder why they're mostly empty?

It's just such a good RP idea... but people do rarely talk there somehow.
What is the reason for that?

Get the bars filled again! Get more active! Please?

Simply it's because most people wanna RP in game, not on the forums.

And to be honest, you rarely see people who stop for others, just to have a talk (like you would have one in a bar).
Or at least, I rarely do.

Oh I don't disagree, but if you ever see any of my characters, I love me some RP that doesn't have to lead to combat xD

You are right. Bars can be great. I just can't find a few peeps to play with me there.

Actually it's a pretty stagnant place for story based roleplay to take place.
There's only so much you can do in a bar.

I do think they'd make good nexus' for characters to meet, and then perhaps have their adventures in another thread.
