Quote:5.11 Using F1 in a PvP fight, as well as in any other situations that involve player interactions, is not allowed.
Okay I have a question that will help me with understanding this rule above.

So using F1 when NOT interacting with other players and are in space with no one in scanner range is allowed?

Im askling just to be sure it was okay or not

My dad wanted to reset modem and I was 20k from Crete and 25k from Thetra Jh. but no one was in scanner range and no one was talking to me.

It is allowed, even with someone in scanner ranger if you are not engaged in any type of RP activity with another user. However it is not recommended, you should always dock before logging out.
Sometimes it can't be helped, if i have to leave in a hurry i often F1 in space after killing engines to stay in place.

Parents usually over-rule most computer games.

Just don't f1 while in Plaver vs player action, other wise you might get reported and Admin will jack your account.

Don't F1 if there's someone nearby who might report you. Docking and F1-ing is safest imo. because then the other guy can't say he never had a chance to stop you (Ya know, CD spam, chasing etc)

No interaction = No problem to hit F1

It is very simple. Well I guess that not always... but hope you got the point.
