Something That's Bugged me for awhile

It's bugged me, for awhile. That you cannot purchase Items that do not fit on your ship. such as:
Freighter Shields on a fighter
Guns on a turret-only freighter
SNAC's only on bomber's/SHF
Mini razor's only on ships with Torp hardpoint.
Etc.

Would it be possible to remove this feature I'm not sure what the purpose of it was. If there even was one; could someone clarify?

So that weapons most relevant to you/your ship would appear first on the equipment list =P

But I agree, it would be nice if you could buy weapons not mountable...
