No, I'm not happy that FP1 got fingered for terrorist bombing of some imaginary SCRA place. That did get edited and corrected. Havent seen the promised apology, but it's not important. Besides, it seems I'm ending up owing one to the whole community.
I'm on a road trip, catching up on messages as I can and this whole yalalalalalalalala escalation stuff is irritating.
That said, regardless of the RP being liked or not, I can handle that. I may get ticked off just like anyone else, but I can handle it.
Now, today/tonight, whatever the time zone, there's been some *allegedly* INRP posts regarding FP1.
I'll be blunt. They are *NOT* inRP posts and I ask the community to ignore them. They are the result of of a few people arguing over skype and and then lashing out at each other in the forums without genuine regard to role play. I'm really upset over that. To me that is just uncool. For the moment, things have settled down in skype, but there is no reason for anyone to base their actual in game/forum role play on what amounts to an OORP e-peen contest.
So, for the remainder of this Zoner/SCRA debacle, the only forum posts authorized for FP1 are the ones that come from me, the actual administrator of the station, and instead of postinig from the FP1 account, I"ll use this one right here.
As for the CoF, my leader character took a back seat a couple weeks ago so that I could concentrate on my other factons that took a major hit during the Corsair/Zoner talks a month or so ago. Since Mike stepped down over this Zoner/Scra mess yesterday, Gytrash is the acting lead for the COF until such time as he and I decide otherwise.
Sorry for the mess tonight. Let's get back on track and actually try having fun playing a game shall we?
I for one, don't blame any Zoner players for blowing their top.
As far as I'm aware, this all got dumped in your lap rather suddenly, which i believe was/is the entire point of what the SCRA's doing.

Yes, sometimes players act rashly, but guess what, so do their characters, especially in response to stressful situations.
And besides, He's wasn't exactly acting out of character to begin with.
Getting your entire station fingered as terrorists by those who literally just led an invasion fleet on Gran Canaria and are claiming martial law over the entire System, is exactly the sort of thing that procedes kicking people who probably want to blow you to smithereens out of your base and securing a perimiter.

It was never intended to be FP1, FP1 is too damn far to achieve the ends the SCRA want to achieve. whoever put that in the original RP made a cock-up. One which we are indeed sorry for, Tigger. It should never have happened.
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.
I'm still curious as to why the involved parties weren't informed about this beforehand, in order to specifically prevent this kind of blow-up.

That's fine with me, it did get corrected but along with several other things last night, I got severely pissed off. I was told at 6am that there was to be a full retcon and at 11:40 after stopping for gas on my trip there was reports stll of shooting. I've only caught bits and pieces but I understand several groups are either not likeing what's going on or liking it way too much. :P
Anyway, if it's genuine role play, I'm okay with it. I'm just not okay with people having OORP arguments in a skype channel and lashing out in the RP section of the forum to prove a point or whatever. That's why I did the TV commercial bit. Please everyone, ignore those threads.
If it involves and FP1 transmission over the next 5 days and it doesn't come from me personally, it's not coming from FP1. RP it out as another episode of Sunday night holotainment, or RP it as falsified broadcasts by some other group intending on causing havoc.
