Back before my EHDD died, I had 300GB of music stashed.
Much of it I didn't -technically- own, but eh.

Most of it was made up of trance and game/anime OSTs, with a bunch of popular artists for the purpose of party DJing.
A lot of it was 320kbps, too, which accounts for the large disk size.

Even still, listening to it back to back would have taken many years.

Just on my computer from what I listen to are 2089 songs varying from rock/pop to folk and classical. That's only a fraction of our family collection though. It's all owned on CD and ripped. Never bought an mp3 in my life.

1.5 TB music, most of it is high quality wav. About 60% of it is jazz, the rest is everything else. Though I admit I rather inherited it than collected. My father is a music fan, and he did collect if for decades. Some years ago he decided to digitalize it and when he was done, I asked if I can copy it. Imagine his face.. :$
