It amazes me that people can fly into New York one evening on a Terrorist Character ... Kill every unarmed tradeship on sight without warning and then when called out the following day, suggest that it is OORP for a player to use their "Warbird" (yes I'm old ... vanilla is still an ice-cream flavour to me) to avenge this murderous act ... apparently I was talking to this guy's alternate character, who was in a different faction and had "no idea" what I was talking about ... then I get all these // messages telling me I'm OORP on both counts ... now this guy's callsign is exactly the same appart from a single period symbol ... I appologised for the confusion and was promptly told to leave Manhatten for OORP behaviour by every tea-sipping rules lawyer in earshot ... next thing BOOM ... in the very same character who refused to be called out, he frags me, totally OORP, totally unannounced ... I tried to give him the opportunity to meet me in honourable one to one combat to settle the previous evening's affairs, and all I get is cowardly rule-mongering and dishonourable battle tactics ... perhaps someone could steer me straight here ... I wish to observe the server rules regarding roleplay ... do I have to ascertain how many full stops there are in this guy's name before shooting? ... or does the fact that he is a Xenos terrorist give the Junkers the right to shoot on sight? ... comments please.

Hmmm. This sounda ALL to familar to me. Especialy when you mention the name John and the Faction Xeno in the same post.
Now I had some odd incident recently, with a Xeno named John, one that I am both highly displeased with and inclined to report on, but alas, no real "proof". As I had one of my boys floating in front of the mooring post at Manhatten I see two Xeno's on long range sensors. Now, granted you can "see" ships on sensors is not the same as "knowing" who a pilot is.
Now I dont like to "read" Tags, ie the Faction or Clan any person belongs to until I actulay get a Scan of their ID. What I did notice was this John immidiately knew who I was, what organisation my boy belonged to and said something about enguaging. Funny how at the distance I saw them fly in at, not even teh ADV Cargo Scanner has that sort of range to SEE cargo and get a look at my ID.
Get where I am going with this?
I also have a real problem with that Mr John AND his friend were not being shot at by anything else except me when they forced their fight down my throat.As I see it, if they are Terrorist, Nothing and no one should ignore them at all. You both should have had every other gun in New York trying to blast you away, NPC and player wise.
Then they want to whine and complain, yet disreguard anyone tryong to have some real RP? Cant really Fly and Type effectively people.
And John, next time you I see you around, I am not playing fair. You threw down on me in the middle of trying to do some RP, then whined at me about rules. COPY THAT. Expect anything but friendly and fair from me from now on.
Oh dear, another one ... If its sanctionable, post it please, if not, can it ... And if I see threats here again,
there will be sanctions anyway.
