Why Flood?

We've got an entire forum section for other Discovery servers, so I'm going to go ahead and move this thread to the "Other Discovery Servers" section.


Anyway, it's too bad that DiscoUSA is closing down. I played there with Doug for a bit when he migrated to the USA server for a few months; it seemed to be doing well enough at the time. It's a shame that I won't have a lower ping alternative now, should I desire one.

I could answer that, but the lack of sarcasm in the answer may make it sound kinda flame-ish.

Lets just say that events caused the player base to dwindle faster than hollering "RAID" in a Detroit brothel.

It simply lost it's players to other servers more interested in PvP. I know because I was the [RHA] faction leader who lost around 15 players to another server. I was also Elder Paddy McDuf of the JSI.

AH...but I was there very close to the start,and for almost a year with my club.You would have to read the archived threads to fully understand what went on at that time.

I know exactly what went down, and it's not my place to make an official statement without their Admin permission.

as for me, I was there for almost 4 years friend. but it's not really important now as the server is shut down in 4 days time, most of it's former players are setting up a new home learning from the mistakes of the past and fixing what should never have been broken.

In general good thing- more players for the main server. I cannot understand why there are others with the same mod anyway.

Do really think those players care about playing here?, they left for good reasons, so forget the idea they'll come back, it's never gonna happen.

Another thing, players on here have already stated they can't always log on, so other servers means they've somewhere else to play, be that Rules are different, and some hooks are either turned off or tweaked.
