Rheinland is tired of wasting resources on large capital ship invasions into Liberty. The time has come for some sort of change in their strategies. Since the Libertonians are usually prepared for these types of invasions, a new plan is made. A squadron of eight (8) Fighters is assembled from both the Primary and the Secondary fleets of the Rheinland Military. Their orders are clear, head into Liberty via Hudson and demolish everything in their way. However, they are in for a surprise.

At the same time a Liberty Navy Fighter group, also consisting of primary and secondary fleet members, is conducting a combat operation training in Hudson. They are conveniently in the way of the Rheinland Military strike force. The two groups meet halfway between the Hamburg Gate and Cold Bay depot and all hell breaks loose.

This is an 8v8 Fighter (VHF/HF/LF) only event. Both groups will consist from both indies and official faction members alike, meaning there will be 4 official faction members and 4 indies on both sides. If not enough official faction members or indies register, they will be replaced by the other respective group. Example: Only 3 indies register for the Liberty Navy side, the last spot will be taken by an official faction member. If we dont get enough people to make the fight an 8v8, we will trim down the numbers so that they are balanced at all times.

Running from the fight to dock at a base, resupply and then come back is strictly forbidden. This is a fight to the death. Taking regens from a ship that is not registered here (is not part of the event) is also strictly forbidden.
