Could it be that Nomads are made a bit tougher and there are more rewards for going into the edge world systems, such as better comodities and maybe more weapondry etc.?

I thought these were meant to be where no one dared enter and that only the brave entered and its not really like that.

I just feel things arnt as 'mysterious'.

I tend to ignore nomad areas.
Not much of interest, as you say.

That aside, I agree with you. At the moment, the only thing in the Unknowns are Nomads and Asteroids. The only threat in the edge worlds are Titan-equipped corsairs.

Perhaps a "Deep Space 1" out in the Unknowns, constantly under siege by Nomads and suchlike.

Oodles of fun, but StarTrek fans may hate us for the name.

Play a Microsoft CD backwords, and it plays satanic messages. Play it forwards, and it does something worse - It installs Windows.

Who cares about Star Trek, i hate it.

"Star-trekking, across the universe,
Boldly going forwards, 'cause we can't find reverse!"

*ahem*

Anyway, yeah I like Vanilla FL cuz it's mystical and creepy.

I think there should be more Hypergates, Dyson Spheres and nomads.

And yea nomads would be stronger, it's just that PC's have armor upgrades change the balance. Go to a Nomad - populated system in an Anubis without an armor upgrade - thats what it should be like.

I suggested that 10 times in the bugs and suggestions.

WE NEED MISSIONS AGAINST NOMADS!

And more ruins.
