Operation: Fernglas, Part I & II

After some discussion, we've decided to merge parts I & II and do them during the same event.

Operation: Fernglas
SOA & Order vs. Das Wilde
Part I: Omega-55 Recon

1. Primary Objective

Investigate the latest occurrences within the deep Omega systems with Order forces' assistance and take suitable action after the source of recent abnormal readings is discovered.

2. Details

Part I:
After rallying with Order| and arranging a recon team, SOA has decided to finally start the second phase of Operation: Fernglas. The plan is to enter Omega-55 unnoticed, avoiding any and all unnecessary conflict, and using the newly installed "Zielfernrohr" Scanner on [RHA]SOA-Flammenwerfer - The flagship of this operation -, doing a complete survey of the system to relocate the jumphole to Omega-58.

Objective of Flammenwerfer would be to avoid any danger and finish the scanning process, while the rest of the SOA forces will be escorting the ship. Order would fulfill the scout role with their light fighters wing, and the group will have to hold the 3 predefined scan locations until the survey is complete. Each scan would take approximately 10 minutes and the flagship will have to stay within the 5k range of the area or the survey would have to restart.

Objective of Das Wilde is, well... Doing what they do best. Killing stuff and looking scary. We're in their home system after all.

Part II:
After the SOA group is intercepted by the Wilde and the fight starts, Flammenwerfer gets disabled due to heavy damage on its engines, and RHA calls in their backup wing, consisting of a bomber wing and a repair ship. Backup wing manages to make it to the location in time before Flammenwerfer is destroyed, and after doing a quick fix on its engines by the repair ship, the group decides to abandon the plan and retreat to Omega-11.

3. Outcome

Part I:
The SOA/Order side is supposed to fail in part I, but just to keep it fun for everyone, Das Wilde will give the other side some time to finish the first survey, then hit them on either of the last two survey spots. As the fight goes on, each side will suffer some losses, but the humans will be forced to flee as Flammenwerfer's engines take extensive damage and is disabled.

Part II:
The rescue team manages to pull the scout wing out of Omega-55, but the scan data would not be sufficient for triangulating the exact location of Omega-58 jumphole. So the RHA decides to send out multiple scout wings to surrounding systems looking for another, less fortified, route into Wilde core system.

* The repair ship will only be used as an InRp vessel for repairing the damage on Flammenwerfer, and will not be handing out regens to any of the escort vessels.

5. Time and Date

After some talks with Order & Wilde leadership, the proposed time and date so far is 4 Nov 2012, 19:00 SMT so the non-european players of each side would have a chance of joining the event as well. However, this can easily be changed if the majority decide a better time or date for the event. So, in case you want to join the event but feel another time would suit you better, include it in your post.

Gute Tag meine Herren,
I finally got all the papers done. The Transfers from general army to SOA is nearly completed. My shiptransponders and spezial equipment is getting mounted right the moment you open this transmission.
I read up on all the intel mentioning, SOA , Operation Fernglas und alien activity like das Wilde in general.
I am proud being a part of this glory Mission and i will bring in meine Dienste with all ambition and comitment a human being can afford.

For this proximate Operation, i will take part with my Odin very heavy fighter, callsign "Kreuzfeuer".
In this case in wanted to ask for a little favour, I need access to the Armory, for zhis Missions codename weapons should work best for me, cause im Fall of getting in trouble, we need really heavy firekraft.
