Nomad LF.

Is it ok to pilot one if your trying to get invited to be a keeper? I read the clan. (( or fraction witch ever one it is.)) I was going to have my char. Immunity to be in a Nomad LF. I was going to have him a lost nomad in liberty space. Does that sound good?

Would I need to write a background story for him, and everything?

Background story is highly recommended, and I might suggest avoiding Liberty for the time being. If you're up for it, hang around Omicron Alpha, Omicron Minor, or Omicron Delta. Those systems are (usually) more free of trash than other places, although watch out for the OTF_RU. They're a wee bit over-zealous in their Order-ness, and have been declared KoS by more or less the entirety of Liberty and everyone in the Omicrons. Watch out.

Also, shoot Treewyrm a PM telling him you are interested. He'll help you out if you have what it takes.

Oh yeah! Check out the links in the Keepers faction post, as well as Frozen's "The Gift" story. You should probably also check out the Nomad backstory (link should be in the "Freelancer" subforum) as well as a few of the threads on the Nomads (AKA Slomon K'Hara, their real name) in the past few pages of this subforum.

If NPCs scare you, you wont last 5 minutes in the keepers. try being chased by a group of player battlecrusiers and gunboats.

Would I be changed a fraction to Nomad? Thats what I was asking. The fighter looks a bit weak, and would get blown up before completely undocking by nomads.
