How many members do you need to start a new faction?

Here is where you can find stuff on faction rules and what nots. I can't find the exact quote, but for an official faction, you need at least 5 members actively playing the game.

And don't forget to make sure the faction you want made official doesn't already have an official faction.

If you don't want to be official, alternatively, you can make an Unofficial Faction. These require just members who want to play, and no money what so ever. It is an alternative, which can be better then an offiical faction at times.
