Awakening. Sudden, without warning. Ennugi's body filled with energies, fluids, emotions.. things it had never experienced before.
The young morph had little more than its thoughts to keep it company.

Gradually, things became clearer. The mindshare had gifted Enuggi with a powerful tool - instinct.
Instincts, which nagged and nagged: the morph needed to explore. Observe. Learn.
Once again, the world the morph was born into gained clarity. Slowly, the vastness of space became visible.
Closer by, there were two large spheres. "Planets", its instincts said.
Enchanted by one of the purple planets, Enuggi tried to move towards it.
A large number of signals began expanding from the core of its brain, speeding through its nervous system.
Slowly, its body came in motion. First, the young nomad barely moved. Then, as it got used to swimming through this world, it sped up, moving ever faster.
Pushed by its instincts, it approached the planet. Soon, a strange disruption in space revealed itself. A jumphole.
Curiosity proved to be one of the creature's dominant traits. Ennugi swam into the vortex, and within a fraction of a second, the morph found itself many lightyears away.
Yet still its instincts forced it to stay on the move. It passed large, metal structures. However, those had to wait. The morph was too vulnerable.
Its need to survive brought it far into the edge worlds. There, it found refuge. A massive structure let it pass through its seemingly impenetrable shield.
Once inside, the morph started changing form. Its hide thickened. Its carapace adapted to ensure it would survive the coming days.
