Wierd problem..

So I can play online all day and night no problems..but if I sign onto Gateway and I am in a decent group and we are all moving and trading in a convoy..my computer will reset most of the time this is in a jumpgate.

I just installed a Nvidia Geforce 6500 on my new computer because it came with on board so I replaced it wit my old one. I have turned the on board one off so they are not conflicting. I was worried that maybe it wasn't getting enough power from the power supply..but I never have this problem unless its the above scenario, and I don't see why only then?

Anyone have any ideas or have anything similar happen to them?

This happens to me, too...usually in a jumpgate, if I've something running in the background of the computer, but it happens when I'm clean, too...

I know someone else in Gateway has something similar happen to them..I just wish we knew what it was..it's so annoying and worries me if it happens in a fight I don't want to be called an F1'er and I surely don't want to be banned or fined.

Have you disabled 3D sound?

Is the videocard power plugged in?

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

Disabling 3D sound and/or updating your video card drivers will fix that one.

Thanks alot 3d sound was enabled so maybe that was causing it. Thanks again you guys if I still have trouble I will post.

How do you find out if your onboard 3d sound or video is turned on or off?
