»Instruction on requesting transfer:
Each member of the Red Hessian Army is required to have the rank of (at least) Leutnant before filing their transfer request to Spezialoperationsabteilung, and the process of requesting the transfer itself consists of three simple steps:
Spending at least 2 active weeks as Leutnant within the Red Hessian Army.
Filling & posting the template provided in the last section of this post in this thread as your transfer request.
Even though this thread is checked on regular basis by the members of SOA command, notifying us over skype after you post in this thread would definitely speed up the process.
»Things you need to know before you request transfer:
There are a series of inter-group regulations and restrictions within SOA. If your transfer request is approved, you will have to follow these restrictions and will not be able to transfer your character back to regular RHA, so before you request this transfer, make up your mind and be sure you actually want this transfer.
You can choose whether you want to transfer your current char to SOA, or make a new one.
In case of transferring the RHA char to SOA, you will have to make a new character for regular RHA activites, and you will get to keep your current rank on both chars.
In case of making a new char for SOA and keeping your old char in RHA, you will have to provide posted biography of the character on Wiki/Forums upon requesting this transfer, and regardless of your rank in RHA, you will start as Leutnant in SOA.
Progress of your RHA and SOA characters will be independent from this point on, and you will have to work for each of their promotions separately.
You will have to stay active on your regular RHA, and cannot focus on flying your SOA character only.
You will be restricted to Hessian and Civilian ships again until your next promotion in SOA.
Progressing through the ranks will not be as easy or fast anymore, you will have to actually work for it.
You have to understand you are joining a group, which takes a major part in RHA's forum roleplays.
Natter Odin is the standard ship for SOA, any other ship or gear would need high command's approval, so if we feel you're trying to join because of certain shiny toys, you may get in, but you will not get the toys.

Born in the Omegas, Eirdis has never really identified with the primary motivations of the the Red Hessians; a Rheinland free from the corporations. She however does believe in the Hessian goal of forming a Hessien Omegas, a fully realized Hesse. Signing up for the RHA as soon as she was of age,often preferring to stay in the Omegas of which she believes is a place she can truly fight for.
Quick witted and often the one taking the initiative. Her aggressive nature is in stark contrast to her soft appearance, of which she found said nature is easily and healthily channeled fighting for the RHA. Her capabilities as a pilot eventually earned her the rank of Leutnant in the Army, she was soon after recommended to sign up for the SOA.
Ragna used to be a fourth year student of Information Security on New Berlin. Since the first year of university stuides she expressed unwavering interest in Bundschuh ideology, storing and studying as much information about the movement as she could, and that is what initially brought her into the flow of revolution: over the course of the year with her classmates she formed a group of likeminded individuals that have later became notorius for peaceful demonstrations against the flaws of the current society, but not the people in power, who ultimately were the reason for the imperfection of Rheinland. Those demonstrations have at first been mostly ignored by the local law enforcement due to their insignificance, but the people were of the different opinion, so what started as the minor movement have soon turned out to be a force to be reckogned with, numbering several thousand members at the pinnacle of it's activities.
As the movement gained critical mass - it naturally started to attarct more and more attention of the local authorities. Soon, it was clear that a hidden struggle against the movement is well underway - a few activists got arrested on trumped-up charges, and the rest started to carry personal protective equipment, the group itself have hired lawyers.
And the rallies continued, confrontations with the authorities against lawlessness have became more frequent, which still have not hindered the growth of the movement, and the new members have still occasionally been joinning. Until it have been decided that the teens amused them enough, and the play time's over. Few following rallies have resulted in mass arrests that resulted in a forceful disbandement of the movement, most of it's members have been carefully distributed and turned into the inmates of penitentiary colonies all over the planet, some sought refuge in the Rheinland underworld. The most unlucky ones have lost their life in the occured chaos. Initially planning to seek refuge with the Bundschuh, Ragna discovered the results rally only a week after her escape. That have drastically changed her plans, she went ahead and appeared in the distant Omega-5 system, using the funds raised by her organisation to procure fake papers and a relatively old Odin she utilised to act along the local patrols in hunting the Cretan menace, relentlessly gaining the trust of the Ronneburg residents and learning the bits of space combat the hard way.
Peace, being the distant dream it is, comes inevitably, and goes hand in hand with justice.
