Dear Devs, please somehow balance the Ascos.
For some reasons.
First off all,we all know that Ascos are somehow really different than any other GB.It's really impossible to shot down an Asco most times with another GB.
Ascos can hit another Ascos easily, but any other GB cannot do the same.
I tried that against the same pilot. With Tridente it was imposible even to take down Asco's shield.
With Asco it was an equal fight. It was much easier to hit an Asco.
Devs and everyone who works on this, please balance those things.
Nice to see that a player who was flying the Asco himself says that.
And, imo: The Asco needs another free perk, like another free torpedo and a few more guns for the weak 5-gun-only arcs. Could also do with a little smaller hitbox and some increased agility. It's not good enough as it is now, it can still be beaten by 2 Gbs.
I'm flyng Asco myself, and only one advantage I see-forward torpedo. However, I've not tried it in battle with another gunboat(GB vs. GB fights are boring)
There're much better gunboats, Hellfire one for example.

Pancakes, bring that GB and let's see what it can do against my Asco.
Jacen, you can also show me a good Hellfire pilot and only then you'll understand how much OP asco is.
But if you guys mean those GBs in a big battles, ofc Bnose can survive loger than an Asco but in that case Bnose will only have to dodge otherwise your P\R s Fail, but I cannot say the same about the Hellfire.
is there something wrong with the target reticule? --> meaning ... is it placed outside the hitbox?
is the problem with shooting it with another gunboat repeatable? or was it a one-time-occurance... ( means - maybe it was bad lag )
i just tried to reproduce it in OpenSP ... but could not find anything wrong from a technical pov. - both, target reticule and hitbox / shieldbubble seemed fine ( fired on it with an asco, an osiris and a trident )
hits registered normally. - but that was OpenSP... so no lag at all.

Everything were clear,Mr.Jack saw that too. With Tridente I could not take down the Shield.
Then I brought an Asco, and made an equal fight,I mean only 20-25% hull were left to Asco.
3 Problems
1st the target reticle is indeed out of the hitbox, subtargeting the torpedo helps a bit.
2nd the ship have too much free space between the belly and it does not catch shots that hits other GB
3nd The arcs are a way too good for its agility and class compared with other GBs, same with the power output of 500 000 instead 400 000.
It is not like something new, it has been neglected since a lot of time together with the other OP GB Bottlenose.

6 guns front, 6 guns back. These are the 2 main arcs for fighting in GBs. 5 to the sides, as the "weak" arcs. The Gb is overpowered when it comes to arcs. All of them are good. Two are top. You can flee (fire backwards) with max damage output, you can attack/chase with max output. Most other GBs need to cover a weak arc, or have to focus on either flying aggressively (6 forward, like my IMG one) or defensives (6 backwards, like Bnose). Asco can have both.
In addition you get a free shield torpedo that even on a 75 % core Asco can be fired every few seconds and makes a big difference in GB-GB fights.
And in contrast to other OP GBs (Bnose, CAU4), it can mount CAU8.
The shape of the Asco is great for pvp. It can dodge well while most pancake-shaped Gbs cannot.
Arcs and shape, torpedo, armor upgrade... that's what makes the Asco so damn good.
