The Bowfin

It was an average day near planet Manhattan. Traders cruising through space. Everything seemed usual.
I was sitting in my siege cruiser, sipping tea from my mug as usual. When I suddenly received an order:
Investigate the situation in the Magellan system.

McWatt: -All hands on deck! Get ready, we are moving out. Mister Bedford, all power to the engines!
Bedford: -Yes sir! Charging cruise engines!

----After arriving to the Magellan system----

McWatt: -Whats the situation out there? Check the long range sensors Bedford!

Bedford: - Sir, we have spotted a Bretonian battleship, the long range scanners indicate a huge Gallic fleet returning to the Leeds system.

McWatt: -Bring us closer to the battleship! We might find something useful.

Bedford: Scannings started...... Sir, scanners showed no lifeforms on the ship. The ship hull is in good condition however. Except the engine part. It was cut off from the rest of the ship.

----Suddenly something come to my mind----

McWatt: -Bedford, do you think we could restore the ship?

Bedford: -Restoring a Bretonian battleship is not the wisest choice sir.

McWatt: -Did I ask your opinion? Answer the original question.

Bedford: -Yes sir.We could tow it to Willard research station. Some of my old comrades could help us in restoring the ship to service.

McWatt: -Then what are we waiting for? Lets do this!
