Today at 9:30, just as large Gallic convoy with state officials incl. HRM Joseph DeFrance on board of liner RNS Royale DeFrance was passing through Frankfurt, the GMG made necessary preparations to ensure safety of the convoy. Their security wing managed to drive out 2 Bundschuh movement members out of the lane and almost destroy one of them. The other one, however, returned in 5 minutes, as confirmed by military patrols in the area. While the military escorts were trying to force him to vacate the area, he stood long enough to meet the main part of convoy, cutting off trade lane to stop them.
After that, he attacked the convoy, demanding it to drop all and any sorts of diplomatic correspondence and documents between Kingdom of Gallia and Republic of Rheinland and trying to cease rising friendliness of Rheinland-Gallia relations. He was almost immediately shot down by escorts, but in desperate attempt he managed to crush into delegation liner with load of nukes on board.
Fortunately, explosion didn't damage vital systems of the ship and didn't cause injuiry of any significant person on board, as HRM Joseph DeFrance later attended diplomatic meeting at Tokyo. Koberstein's fate still remains unclear, but we presume he was torn apart by the explosion.
Anonymous Rheinland polizei source commented on the issue: "This was long-searched Bundschuh criminal, who has been plotting various antinational schemes for a long time. His name is Dennis Koberstein, he was journalist and doctor of journalistics from Berlin university. Identity of second Bundschuh pilot is still unclear. We're currently running investigation on his sources of information and whole planning of attack".
Dennis Koberstein, journalist and main editor of Volksfront Daily, outlawed media source, acclaimed his fame with grieveously renowned public statements before, highly critical of current socio-economic system Rheinland has. His fame was further backed with number of intellectualistic books which were widely spread through students of Berlin university in 813 A.S. After facing legal pressure in 814 A.S. he decided to go underground and joined the Bundschuh movement, where he started to criticize Rheinland openly, spread propaganda against state officials, patricate in various acts of protest against recent Daumann Heavy Construction harsh policies. In 815 A.S. polizei issued arrest warrant on him and declared him to be on federal wanted list, charging him of state betrayal.
