Why is it player Nomads can't tractor stuff in? NPCs can do it fine, and it doesn't destroy their RP or anything.
inRP Nomads would tractor in things like human cargo, and convert them into Wild.

Not needed.
What would Nomads do with tractored stuff? Fly to the nex freeport and sell it for money? Doesn't make sense for me.

Also... it is so refreshing to see a fight that does not take +15 minutes because there are some bots around (some noob got instaed) and people simply die when their time has come.

"No tractor" is one part that makes Omicron fighting more enjoyable than in some other parts.

Pretty much what he says. Nomads dont care about whatever humans have, all they want is their wonderful sunlight to live.

Items just don't have any value to them.

Its something you have to give up I suppose, do nomads really have a tractor bream mounted anyways? Its not like they have some vacuum thing to draw items in anyways.

Even if it draws in Bots/Bats, nomads really wouldn't be drawing in human nanobots or batteries to recharge them.

I find this topic incredibly amusing.

Hey, you Nomad players - we want to be able to play with your ships and have your abilities. Well, guess what? Now you do - you have those ships. And guess what? Deal with it.

(I suppose at some point someone ought to point out that Nomad ships DO have the ability to use their tractor beams to haul in stuff. It's just that it's INCREDIBLY range limited - as in, you need to be nearly stopped and sitting within 100 meters of what you want to tractor in. Great for gathering regens and 'loot' (aka human pilots to infest) after you go kill NPC's, not so great when you're in PvP.)

I'd stick my tongue out at you for complaining, but a simple I TOLD YOU SO will suffice.
