I regret to inform you that today's tests on the tissue samples have proven quite disastrous. While we believed we had discovered the mutagen in Cardimine responsible for the genetic enhancement leading to prolonged life, we were in fact mistaken.
We refined Batch #344 as per instructed and injected 14mg into each tissue sample. Our results were as follows:
Sample 12 has displayed the most distressing symptoms including swelling, irritation, and an overall decrease in cellular metabolism.
Sample 13 has become necrotic, as most cellular functions have ceased.
All other samples have displayed no change.
I fear that the chemical properties of Cardimine may be irreducibly complex. I am not alone in this analysis. Both [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] agree that the chemical properties are inter-dependent and unpredictable when isolated.
