It was meant to be a spectacular launch, it wasn't. It was meant to be the dawn of a new age for combat, it was one of the greatest failures known to Kusari.

The Taisetsuzan has just come off the production line and what a ship she is! Nothing in history has something this advanced been developed, there is almost no crew aboard at all. Everything is controlled by a central AI allowing the ship to be run at full capacity at all times. The only personal aboard other then myself are scientists and a few engineers to ensure that the ship runs smoothly.

This is the Captain of the Taisetsuzan reporting in. She's been through a few scraps against pirates and Bretonia and has faired extremely well on all occasions. I dare say that this kind of ship will be replacing all of us in the Naval forces haha.

Somethings wrong. We were sent deep into Dragon territory to investigate an anomaly when the ship diverted its course, all systems have been locked out and we have no control over it at all. Its like its become... Self aware but AI's shouldn't be able to do that! They were designed so they couldn't ignore any directive.

Food's running low. We have no idea where we are or how long its been. Nearly all power has been cut already, only thing running is the life support systems. * A loud metal clunk can be heard in the distance* What was that?! *Voices can be heard in the distance*
"Captain! The life support just went dead! We have maybe 3 minutes of oxygen left."
"Where are the breather masks?!"
"Locked sir, the ship... wants us to suffocate."
"No, there has to be some... *Choking can be heard through the Log. Then silence*"
