Anyone else notice...

When I first came here most of the Threads in General Discussion was for RP Events and Help on Characters and what would be considered OORP and RP...
Now almost everythread I see is about people's ZOI; What they did; Their OORPness and complaints...
Anyone else notice this or am I just pointing at shadows?

hmm i may have done this without noticing. But yes now that I look though the thread now, compared when I started it has changed. I think that alot of the Discos topics have change rapidly over the last 2-3 months.

i don t see a difference to other times. - its allways been the same:

- complaints about warships
- complaints about ooRPness
- ppl pointing out how helping others has such a better effect than punishing
- a lot of drama
- stories
- events

not in that order - the only thing that is "rather" new is the discussions about how much power playerfactions may hold, cause that was no issue back then.

But yes, it has degraded a bit even since I came here and that was only a short time ago. Since people started complaining about my 'spamming' I've tried to keep most of my threads in the flood section unless they really need to be in the general, RP hub, or rules forums.

I think it's simply a matter of a lot of new players coming here. Other servers are dying, and Discovery is growing very rapidly as they start playing here instead. A lot of the people coming here dont understand the concept of "RP" very well either... I had a decent concept of it from other games I've played in the past and even I had a little trouble adapting to the disco environment - but it's more a matter of the huge number of rules you have to pay attention to than the actual effort of RP'ing.

I'm here from a few time, And my bro' explained it to me before, plus, I have lots of imagination, and enjoy using it, so, I understood RP very quickly.

And, I must admit, even if I'm not posting (most of the time only repplying) I'm annoyed of people who don't understand something so simple ! They could at least follow our tips, instead of saying "I dun' care ! Mind your own biz' !" !

Since I'm in Disco (my first online game), I became a flaming person... My bad...
