Storyline
During the Great War between the Alliance and Coalition, 5 sleeper ships were launched from Ganymede, Jupiter System, on route to start a new life in the Sirius Sector, away from the war ravaged Sol system. The system flourished. Trade lanes and jump gates were built. Planets were colonized. Star bases were built. All seemed well, until 800 years later.. The invasion of the Slomon K'hara. After a major fight throughout all systems, the Order finally activate an ancient hypergate to the Daam K'Vosh empire and all the nomad ships are pulled through it. But since that time has passed, more war ravishes the human race, now deeply rooted in Sirius. The Rhineland and Liberty, Bretonia and Kusari, and French Gallia, with intent to conquer the whole of Sirius. These factions are enthralled in a bloody conflict of power and dominance. Piracy has run rampant through the trade system. But now dawns a new faction..... A group of freelancers, sick of death and war. Tired of pirates preventing them from achieving the goals they set out to space to achieve. They call themselves Starfleet: Sirius Sector. {SFSS} On a mission to explore the Sirius Sector, to get away from the bitter infighting of the Houses. These are their Voyages....

Starfleet:Sirius Sector {SFSS} is the deep-space exploratory and defense service. It is a private group not under authority of any house system. Its principal functions included the advancement of knowledge about the Sirius Sector and its inhabitants, the advancement of science and technology, the military defense of those ships operating under starfleet, whether transports, miners, or exploratory vessels, and the practice of diplomacy.

Starfleet Directives:

The Prime Directive:
No Starfleet member should interfere with the policies/politics of other races. It is unlawful to give technology to those that have not discovered such technology already.

Secondary Directives:
Directive IIa: Starfleet members should help all those who need/request it unless it would breach the Prime Directive to do so. PIRACY IS NOT POLITICS.
Directive IIb: Starfleet members should always try to find a diplomatic way of resolving an incident. Using force is a last resort!
Directive IIc: If force has to be used, that member should contact any other members in range and request assistance. Do not try and be a hero when there are those about that can offer their assistance.

Rank Structure:
Admiral
Commodore
Captain
Commander
Ensign
Cadet

How about not blatantly ripping off Star Trek and making something a little more original?

Tag {SFSS} Starfleet: Sirius Sector

He refers to the ID Card that is going to be mounted on your ship, not your faction tag
eg - Freelancer, AI, (House) Navy ID etc ...

And my thought is pretty much what LunaticOnTheGrass said.. but good luck...

Bad first impression.

Direct imports are likely to complete fail with DiscoGC so you better get yourself together and try find a way to eventually use various facts out of your beloved ST-universe and merge it into Freelancer universe.
Which will require you some effort to get that clean.

Your presentation so far is nothing but a copy slightly adapted to've it sound like Freelancer, yet it's still just an uncovered ripoff.

Back to the drawing board, man.
