Before I tell you what I know, I must tell you who I am. I do not remember my father, and I remember only a few words from my mother. She called me a "star child," for I was born on a starship. My name was Alice, but I do not remember hers. That is what I know of my origins.

She died when I was three. I know that we had to leave our home in a hurry. I remember crying because I forgot my baby narkle, but we could not go back. We went onto a ship -- it seemed huge at the time, but it was probably an ordinary freighter. I went to sleep in her arms, and woke to noise, flames -- and then darkness.

The Liberty Police found me. I grew up as a ward of the state. Some times things were good -- shelter with a kind family, schooling, and play with other children. Other times they were bad; I will not speak of them now. I learned to look within myself, and to meditate.

When I was 17, a vision came to me during meditation. This was the First Revelation. I felt an overwhelming holy presence. I opened my eyes, and there I stood among the Dom’Kavosh. I knew immediately that I was looking at the very Kingdom of Heaven. The Dom’Kavosh never really left. They are luminous beings, angels of mercy. This is what all of the prophets have been seeking – the nature of the good and the path to righteousness. Then the vision faded.

At once, I knew that I had been called upon for a great mission. My life of hardship made sense, for I was being prepared to undertake the supreme task of enlightening the human race. At once, I began to study what was known about the Dom’Kavosh. The field of study was fragmented. Even the spelling of the name was in dispute. Clearly, I had to seek understanding by myself; the experts knew nothing. Using the gift of the First Revelation, I was able to understand the significance of what I saw. Most texts were religious or spiritual, but written on a level that we cannot hope to understand. One thing was clear – the Dom’Kavosh had once been corporeal beings, but had ling since moved past the material world.

Understanding this took me two years, and then the Dom’Kavosh saw fit to send a new vision. This vision was of a White man in a uniform. He looked as if he had stepped into the present from a thousand years ago. He called himself “Lakwena” and said that he had a message for me. He was not speaking English, yet somehow I understood him perfectly.

When I opened up the message, it disappeared in my hands. I looked up in bewilderment, only to see a middle-aged Black woman. She spoke in yet another tongue, but I understood her perfectly. She said “I am also Lakwena, but I was born Alice Auma. For all these years, I have waited for a sister. And now you are here. You will be Lakwera, and you have a great destiny. First was a doctor, then a soldier, now a prophet. Do His will.” This was the Second Revelation.

The Dom’Kavosh had seen fit to send a second vision. Why? I researched the colony logs and the histories. It took six months before I finally encountered an old file, more than three hundred years old. It told the story of some the people who were left behind on Earth. For thousands of years, people had built cities and formed nations.

One of these nations was called “Uganda” and during one of its worst times, in the late 20th century, a Holy Spirit Movement emerged. Its leader was…Alice Lakwena! The only fragment of her history that survived was this explanation:
“Alice Auma (1956 – 2007) was an Acholi spirit-medium who, as the head of the Holy Spirit Movement, led a millennial rebellion against the Ugandan government. The primary spirit she purportedly channeled was that of a dead Italian army officer called Lakwena, meaning messenger, which the Acholi believe to be a manifestation of the Christian Holy Spirit. The combined persona of Alice Auma channeling the spirit Lakwena is often referred to as Alice Lakwena.”

What was the meaning of this? Lakwena was a messenger. Alice Lakwena was a soldier. I must therefore be the prophet! I now understood. Alice Lakwena had never died at all. She had joined the realm of the Dom’Kavosh. My mission was to help humanity ascend to this higher plane of being.

I took the name D’Nai Lakwera. D’Nai is an ancient Dom’Kavosh name, and Lakwera is the holy sister of Lakwena. I began to preach. First, I told people of the wonders of the Dom’Kavosh. Then I began to talk of the guardians. If the Dom’Kavosh have joined the kingdom of heaven, then surely their appointed guardians must be angels, worthy of our obedience. I wrote a defense of the “Nomads.”

Then came the Third Revelation. I saw the Dom’Kavosh in their corporeal form. It was long, long ago. They were walking with a Nomad, explaining the need to guard their realm and prepare it for the return of the Dom’Kavosh. Then I saw a new vision, of Nomads fighting, warring with each other. One great army fell upon another. Entire star systems collapsed. A mighty commander dominated all others. I saw him, and then I…felt him.

I understood what had happened. The Loyalists had honored the will of the Dom’Kavosh, becoming guardians of their domain. They knew what it meant to be charged with the holy task of protecting life and inspiring Godliness. They carefully prodded along entire races and species as they matured, civilized, and began to expand. It was they who inspired some of the mighty prophets of our history, though they lacked the skill and power of the Dom’Kavosh. Much that is noble in human history may be attributed to the gentle nudges and suggestions of the Loyalists. Truly, they are akin to angels – and yet not without weakness.

However, not all Nomads were pleased with their role. They secretly desired to build a mighty empire of their own, even to outdo the Dom’Kavosh in power and might. And so they began to speak of being a different sort of guardian – a guardian that would shut out other races, instead of shepherd them. Call them the Rebels. Their hearts became twisted and wicked with lust for power and domination. They were cunning in their plans for war, and surprised the Loyalists. The Loyalists formed their own fleets and even, in their desperation, turned to some of the younger races for aid. The Rebels responded by targeting entire star systems for extermination – especially any which had been inspired by the Loyalists. The Loyalists lost, being unwilling to drag the rest of the flock down with them in ruin. I do not know if any remain, but they are not the Nomads we have encountered.

What we call Nomads are in reality rebels against God. They are, indeed, angels of a sort – fallen ones. They do not inspire – they possess. If we are to reach the Kingdom of the Dom’Kavosh, we must win the war against evil, both within and without. We must fight the Nomads without turning ourselves into monsters in the process.

This is not a war which can be won on the battlefield, for victory does not bring morality. Even if we were to extirpate the Nomads from the galaxy tomorrow, we would still be in mortal and spiritual peril. We must change ourselves as we fight the Nomad menace, and this requires a spiritual war.

This message is a declaration of war on the evil and selfishness in our hearts. The Church shall be our army, and the words of revelation our weapons. I invite you to join the Church of the Dom’Kavosh, and teach others of the Three Revelations and the true nature of evil. We must free the “infested,” hold back the Nomads, and learn to live with one another. This is a formidable task, but we have been prepared for it for thousands of years. It is our species’ time to seek a true connection with the Kingdom of Heaven.

Everywhere we look, we see war, fascism, piracy, and other forms of evil. Groups like the “Blood Dragons” have actually convinced themselves that preying on their fellow humans is honorable! We must not hate them, for they live in a world wracked by violence and injustice. We must seek to change them. In the months and years to come I will be traveling this sector, spreading this message of hope. Join me in this holy mission.

Blessings of the Dom’Kavosh,
D’Nai Lakwera

I go by abbamouse, but my characters are the Cryer researcher Daniel Moss, the very boring and ordinary trader John Smith, the borderline-insane civilian Mr Joker, and a Bundschuh activist who goes by the alias Rosa Luxemburg. I am not them and they are not me.

Transmission beginning...
This is the Inner Circle of Agnus Dei speaking.
Interesting visions that you have. We are always surprised to see how faith in a superior entity creates similar goals. We will be curious to hear your prophecies. There is no such thing that one prophet, but many voices that merge into One. We have lost the trail of three of our Enlightened. Could their memories remain, move, mold into something else, and reborn into something stronger ?
Heaven and Earth are a long past gone, only one hope remains: immortality.
The path is in-between our birth and our death and above, to the Enlightenment.

What we fail to see is the Dom'Kavosh themselves, that you serve... as the Nomad served them for all we know, if what we know worth something.
What we fail to see is what you define as "God" and the "Kingdom of Heaven".
Whatever, we are only concerned by your goal and... we will use your voice.
Feel free to use this channel, if suddendly you realise that we are almost nothing, particules passing through a microcosm.
But we are led by Faith and Hope, united as One. And One is all we are.
