Now, about 3 weeks after call of duty 4 was released, treayarch accnouned they would be making call of duty 5, and setting back the theme to ww2, which loads of people didn't like.

A month or so ago, the name and box covers were released "Call Of Duty: World At War", and more information regarding it was also released, as well as a few images. They said they were focusing more on the pacific side of the war now, which was also rumored in december.

Last Week ( just found out like 10 mins ago) the trailer for call of duty WaW was released, and it looks great, while watching it i hardly cared becayse treayarch never made call of duty games for the PC, ex: Big red one, cod3. But at the end of the trailer, it said "Games for Windows" and my jaw just dropped:P

So.. the trailer is here, it looks fantastic, i also heard it uses the same cod4 engine, aswell as the ranking and stats system, and it has a flame thrower :O, which i have never had in a fps game ( not that i have played)

It might suck, then again it might rock, ww2 jungle warfare? mmm. Think i will defo be getting this one

Ya it looks great
Island Warfare in the Pacific Ocean and fighting in Russia.
Ambushes and such happening at random.

You can use Flamethrowers and you can climb trees it seems and hide in them.

First Look:

The trailer looks nice. Looks like it's american part was inspired by a movie, considering the mixed japanese and american narrator. Can't remember the title, but it showed the fight from two perspectives.

Either way, I'm waiting for an eastern front trailer.

They'll most likely release it for consoles as well.

I wonder how many more times we can rely on EA/Activision to release WWII games.

How many have there been again?
