Senors of the Coalition,
I regret to inform you that due to your recent actions the non-aggression pact between our organisations is void.

One year ago, your organisation attempted to undermine this familia's position in Corsair society through manipulation of the Brotherhood.
This was tolerated, although not forgotten. Some months ago you then sought to exert more power over the nation through further attempts at manipulation of the Brotherhood. The Brotherhood realised this and hostilites began.
Due to mistrust of the Brotherhood caused by your previous actions we chose to remain uninvolved to this day.

However, your recent actions have caused us to change our stance.
The recent attacks on Cadiz and operatives of the Omega Pirates Guild is not acceptable to us. This hostile action and attempt to gain territory from the nation warrants more than unilateral action.

Also recently, a dishonourable attack on one of our operatives due to orders based on the misinterpretation of a comunique intercepted by your intelligence group was entirely against our non-agression agreement.
The explanation for this action, the misinterpretation of our communique implied that your organisation had been scrutinising the actions of our familia for at least a number of months.
Not only was this deemed by the familia as a betrayal of trust, but was also interpreted as clear evidence of your unfriendly intentions.

The Democratic Council of Benitez Elders have determined that the familia can no longer stand idly by while your intelligence service continues to invade the privacy of our organisation's operatives, while you launch waves of attacks on Corsair strongholds and while you continue to shed Corsair blood.

Members of your organisation of Cretan origin that wish to continue to visit their families will continue to do so with the support of the Benitez family, however these operatives should arrive and leave on non-military vessels and submit to extensive searches at space dock to ensure the safety of the Cretian people.

The Benitez familia will fight until your attempts to capture Corsair territory, your attacks on Corsair vessels, and your dishonourable surveillance operations on Crete have ceased.
To that end senors, a state of hostility now exists between us.
