Senores y Senoritas of the Zoner Alliance,
it has taken some time but now the eyes of the Council of Corsair Elders has turned to you. There have been reports of your ships destroying Corsair vessels, bringing warships into our capitol system, Omicron Gamma, as well as other nuisances that we hopefully don’t have to dissect.

While you say you and your kin are not new to these parts, you don’t seem to have a proper grasp of how the lower Omicrons work. Yet the Empire has a great heart and is ready to forgive, despite all mouth-offs and ugly rumors that got reported or told.

Our proposal is this:

::: You agree to never bring warships to Omicron Gamma again.

::: Never claim any kind of ownership of the Omicron Theta system.

::: Paying proper taxes upon shipments not headed to the markets of the Corsair Empire.

::: Never protect ships not flying under your banner from proper taxation.

::: Never bring our enemies to our systems, enable them passage through our systems or house them in our systems. Also providing staging grounds for raiding parties in Omicron 74 is unacceptable.

::: Always contact the Corsair Court if problemas arise with any Corsair instead of resorting to violence, we are no Hessians nor Outcasts, we are Corsairs!

You must understand, you are not protected from the Corsair nation with the exception of shipping to or from our markets. You may make deals with different groups of our nation to ensure protection with them, but do not expect to enjoy full allegance with us. You are Zoners, you do not “ally” with anyone. You’ve chosen these far reaches of space for a reason. We may co-exist, but only as long as you follow the rules.

Normally we would have thought these points to be self evident, but we want to be sure everything is clear and understood. If your group has the desire to roll up what has transpired feel free to open a court file and you will recieve the justice you deserve. Our Empire is a place of law and order, and if your group wants to co-exist here, with us you will have to accept our laws and traditions, we hope this is clear?!

We have reviewed the proposal and we agree with all the proposed points.

However we do need clarifaction on some of their meaning's etc..

::: You agree to never bring warships to Omicron Gamma again. Agreed

::: Never claim any kind of ownership of the Omicron Theta system.
We have never or will make this claim in any capacity, however we do ask that the current Stations remain in Zoner Adminstration.

::: Paying proper taxes upon shipments not headed to the markets of the Corsair Empire.
We would like to know what a reasonable tax is in Credits? And also assurances that we wont be pirated in succession one after the other for the same shipment.

::: Never protect ships not flying under your banner from proper taxation.Agreed

::: Never bring our enemies to our systems, enable them passage through our systems or house them in our systems. Also providing staging grounds for raiding parties in Omicron 74 is unacceptable.
We never have, nor shall we ever allow this to happen...but please beaware we have no control of the O-74 system and our defences are currently set against those that would do us harm! As for any other system within the Corsair Empire we will endeavour to warn Corsair Pilots of any activity that could put the Corsair people in harms way.

We will endeavour to do so, but please beaware if our ships are fired upon then our escorts/fleet will defend the un-armed Cargo Vessels which we possess. Or should we need to defend our-selves against any rogue-Corsair pilots who attack us without provocation, we will however try to make our way to a safe-port is possible to avoid bloodshed

We would like to thank the Council of Elders for being forgiving and allowing us to find a peaceful solution.

We would like to also add that shipments of food and supplies will be restarted forthwith to Planet Crete.
