The Guardian is an advanced version of the Defender. Being cheaper and easier to produce than the Avenger, the Guardian features some advanced technology that allows it to survive even in the most remote Edge World systems.

When it comes to Very Heavy Fighters, the Guardian is a "posterboy" for the multi-role spaceship. Its main attraction being the versatility and diversity it offers to the Liberty Navy, allowing, often with small changes to its loadout, the ability to work as a fighter-interceptor, or light capital ship attacker. The Guardian is fairly fast for a fighter of its size and weight, which makes it difficult to hit, a trait that makes it deadly in the hands of an ace pilot.

Against the Sabre, one of its common opponents, its strengths come in quite useful. While it can't box-strafe to the extend of the Sabre, it's small frontal profile does add to its dodging ability, especially when utilizing heavy use of the vertical thrusters. In a more traditional dogfight, where jousts are less likely, its imperative that the pilot does everything he can to avoid showing the top or bottom of the Guardian to his opponents, as those two sides present a large target for the enemy. It makes up for this in firepower.

The location of the torpedo mount allows for easy use of a Mini-razor, making it useful for landing heavy blows on an opponent. If used againt a lightly-armed Very Heavy Fighter, or against any Heavy Fighter, using a Mini-razor and a full salvo of Magma Hammer Vs can allow the pilot to destroy his opponent before he has time to repair. This of course requires the opponent's shields to be down.

Against large ships such as bombers and the Pirate line, your superior maneuverability grants you a massive advantage. If you can stay on the larger opponent's tail, or at least avoid jousting bombers, the fight should be over the second it starts.

The Guardian is a well-rounded ship, and when used to its fullest potential, is capable of giving even the best of pilots a run for his money. }}

It turns VERY slow, so slow that the [[Avenger]] has got the same turning speed ( maybe Avenger lacks very few radians/second). I'd really recommand that you go for something else. While it looks small, its not anything hard to aim at all, it has got a Medium Fighter core which is okay to supply six weapons, it has got decent hull, but still, it turns slow.}}

The Avenger is the recent highly classified development of Liberty Security Force. Only a few ships of this kind exist. Extended armor and increased power output make this ship one of the only Liberty fighter capable of surviving in the Edge Worlds harsh environment.

Being the heaviest fighter that [[Liberty]] has to offer, the Avenger boasts increased energy output and armor comparing to the [[Guardian]]. However, that advantage comes at a price of maneuvrability, as well as the looks of the ship come at a price of its size: the top fin makes the ship look good (although, tastes differ), but also makes the vessel an easier target.

In combat Avenger's low agility may become an issue, but that all depends. In duels you can make use of your firepower and armor by [[jousting]] or boxing (I've seen some people doing that rather well). Sliding can make you an easy target, so I'd advise not to do it. In large-scale battles there are two points you need to remember:

*Avenger's firepower allows you to keep firing for quite some time, and you can make use of it by hitting enemy's bombers and gunboats. In fact, Avenger is created for anti-bomber and anti-gunboat duty (you'd need two or three ships to take down a gunboat, though).

*Relatively low agility can (and probably will) be a problem when you attempt to evade enemy fire, especially if people decide to concentrate fire on you (and they are likely to do that, since they are usually aware of Avenger's weak spot).

Also, Avenger's low agility may be a problem when you face more agile fighters, like the [[Sabre]] or the [[Bayonet]] (you will confront those ships within [[Liberty]]) or the [[Wraith]] (the main strike vessel of the [[Rheinland Military]]).

So, the conclusion: Avenger is perfect for bomber/transport/gunboat interception, can be quite effective in fighter combat (especially in duels), but the agility may become a problem. The low agility is the main reason why people mostly go for the [[Guardian]]. But despite the fact, that the Avenger is not an easy ship to fly, it may be deadly in the right hands.}}

While its not that slow as mentioned above, it has a higher energy and armor output than the Guardian, and the maneuvrability is kinda the same. You can get a buck of 6 Magma Hammers and, if you want, a [[Mini Razor]]/Torpedo/CD. Also, you may wonder: "Why that MR, its already 6 hullbusters?" , well, pretty simple: 2~3 full shots of 6 Magmas and a well-aimed MR will turn any fighter into scrap, and bombers will wonder why they are so low on hull. On the other hand, if you're going for Torpedoes, pack a Starkiller, now, Why starkiller and not sunslayer? Because Starkiller turns better than the Sunslayer, making it a lot easier to hit. This ship has been and still is a pleasure to fly, and I would recommend this to experienced and new pilots alike.}}

An old design that has been continuously updated and upgraded, the Surveyor is one of the few ships that still has its roots back in Sol. A large number of these vessels were loaded on each sleeper ship, designed to allow the fledgeling colonies to quickly send out scouts, in order to seek out resources that could be used to make the new colonies prosper. Lightly armed and armored, these craft depend more on agility than endurance to perform their jobs.

Typically armed with a limited number of concussion torpedoes, a few light blasters, a small mining laser and sampling equipment, a Surveyor's primary task is to seek out the riches pockets of high grade resources, so the larger mining vessels can come in and harvest them. The torpedoes are generally used to break up larger asteroids, but threatened miners have been known to deploy them defensively. Cheap to operate, a number of companies have begun using the Surveyor as an auxillary mining vessel, using it to speed up existing mining operations without risking more costly assets.

With defenses more than capable of dealing with inner-house ne'er-do-wells and bringing the fight back when entrusted to the right hands, this vessel rarely need make use of its luxurious escape pods, outstanding warranty and redundant "crybaby" sos systems.

It does, however, have its secret drawbacks. While it looks like an armored starblazer, it actually has less armor. It also provides a larger target, although it is still a small ship.

All-in-all, I would say this is a more well-rounded option for players who enjoy flying a starblazer, but just need more firepower, as this can still fight reasonably well.}}

Stylish, compact, well-built bomber with good enough armaments and hull to be able to fight transports and capital vessels as well as successfully counter fighters and bombers (Especially it works well with zoomed out camera, though you need to know how to steer the ship with keyboard).
I was my first ever bomber I actually used to fly, and, definitely, one I love most of all. The vast holds and deft maneuverability of the [[Combat Service Vehicle]] and [[Collector]] had long served the Junker's salvage operational needs well. What those vessels lacked in hardiness was more than supplemented by a defense far stronger than any armor: the Junker's mastery of political intrigue, corruption and hard won establishment of the necessity of their presence.

Then came an enemy who had no regard for such things: [[Das Wilde|The Wild]].

Operations at [[Yanagi Depot]] had hit a major snag. Combat enforcement were hard pressed to deal with the near-constant presence of the deadly hybrid vessels, especially with the majority of their fighting presence being placed in a position of holding off [[Hogosha]] incursions while attempting to mute their military presence in the heartland of the [[Gas Miners Guild]].

The swift answer came in the form of the CSF. With vastly improved cargo capacity, shielding and defensive capabilities the vessel quickly proved itself as an able frontline salvage operator. Slight increases in cost were more than made up for in a marked increase in performance in nearly every respect.

This Freighter may be spawned from a pit of corruption and greed in context but truly is a joy to fly. Two Class 10 and one Class 8 gun mounts, six [[Class 2 Turrets]] mounts, a mine, a countermeasure ''AND'' a cruise disruptor makes this the most well equipped Freighter around today.

All the extra gadgets definitely contribute to its survival and the survival of its cargo and profit; allowing it perform almost every tactic of threat/pirate avoidance. A fairly decent cargo hold of 500 isn't very impressive but is enough for those buying this ship for non-legitimate purposes, as well as functionality. Thanks to Junker engineering and whatever they found amongst those scrap heaps, this ship fits in nicely amongst the rest of the 'Combat Service' line giving it that uniform functional look of the [[Junkers]]. This ship is a definite must buy for beginning shippers going into the Junker pure breed from zero to hero.}}

Even though Corsairs use transports for their main shipments, a smaller freighter has advantages when it comes to smuggling. Thats why the Correo was constructed, a fast and powerful freighter with an adequate cargospace. It is so capable in fact, that it is even used for piracy and raids.

The [[Outcasts]] could only imagine getting their mitts on this shocker of a ship that can make even the most pirate-hating players drool. The chassis design perfectly fits into the [[Corsairs]] style of vessel; and with four [[Class 1 Turrets]], two class nine and two class eight gun mounts; it's bite is certainly as big as it's bark. For Corsair reference that's about four Angelito MkII Turrets, Two Tizzies and Two Angie MkIIIs.

The dealer isn't joking in the description when he says it's capable of raiding and pirating. This thing can stand up to even the Rogue [[Bactrian]] itself when it comes to raidin' for booty. Put aside its stunning features and sizable firepower the Correo does have a few complications. It's not like most freighter vessels on the market today. It's hold of 500 has same sort of size of a small freighter in any of the other Sirius houses, and because of this it does make you think as to weather the hold should be a different value. After some thought you do realize that it's probably best suited for it since the Correo is loaded with gun mounts and gadgets that you dont get on any other vessel of its size. Sadly the Correo isn't in the transport class so it lacks a Level 7 Shield Outlet and [[Class 7 Turrets]]. But it's definitely compensated with remarkable maneuverability rivaling that of the [[Drone]] or [[Humpback]], slipping through asteroid fields like the Badlands with incredible grace. A Mine slot, Countermeasure and Cruise disruptor and a jaw dropping price tag of a mere 3 million. The bottom line is, this just may be the single best vessel that the [[Corsairs]] have ever produced in terms of practicality.}}
