He awoke in a tiny hut on a desolate planet,in agony, hurt by every breath he was taking,in pain, unbelievable pain...
Even the light that was coming from the ceiling had been hurting his eyes like he was stared at the brightest sun,his skin was burning on every place
where it was in touch with his bed...pain,unbelievable pain.. He fainted again, and awakening now and then just to faint again.Three days pasted before he succeeded
to stay awake longer than a few moments... He could, in his short periods of awareness, see foggy shapes that seemed to be people, talking about something he could not understand, it was all fuzzy.
Weeks were needed to recover enough for any gesture, any aware action, and even longer it took to re-learn speech, the ability to move, to eat, it had been as if he did not know anything.
He was as helpless as a newborn child, although his body was gaving the impression that he lived a very fierce life. His state of mind was like he had just been born, a child who has yet to mature ...
The people turned out to be archeologists on one of the numerous Dom Kavosh archeological digs somewhere in Sirius. They had found him alone, at the brink of death, unaware, on the outskirts of the planet.
They nurtured him back to life, and were very curious as to his past. He soon regained all his normal human abilities, but he could still not recall anything about himself, not even his name.
One of the archeologists decided to call him a which was one of the words or names they found etched in the stones, by a long forgotten race in the Sirius galaxy, called the Dom Kavosh.
The archeologists had a theory about the pronounciation of the name and it's meaning. It was Chu' Qos, and they figured it's meaning to be 'New Life',
which is why the young archeologist deemed it appropriate.
He remained with them for a year, trying to gather the broken pieces of his past, but to no avail. It was buried somewhere deep inside his mind, or perhaps purged by something.
He did not know anything for that matter, he had a clean slate, so to speak. He wondered many times about what had led to this turn of events, and had many theories, but which made no sense to him.
He helped around the site, earning his keep so to speak, but this kind of life was clearly not for him. He needed something different, he needed more.
Deciding to venture out into the universe, to try and recollect it all, or perhaps just build it all anew, he set out to planning what he would do.
He made a resolution, that he would set out as a Freelancer. He asked some of his friends to pitch in and help him buy his first ship.
They did not have much, but they decided to loan him the money anyways, and he promised to pay them back.
With the measly money he got, he bought a CSV, a cheap but sturdy ship, and set out to weave his destiny.
It is hard to find a job for frelancera without experience and connections in the Sirius ... So I accepted an invitation from Ageira to periodically carry out tasks for them when there is no work for Freelancer ...
