I need a picture for each crewmember. Starting price is ten million per photo, except for the last character's photo, which is five million.
These bios are very open to interpretation, so the pictures are probably hit or miss.
I'll include all the pertinent information, other than that.... use your imagination.
If I really like the picture, bonuses may apply to the pay.
Ship: Seker,
Reshep Order Light Reconnaissance Cruiser,
Outfitted for Long Distance Travel, Research, and Medical Operations
The Doctor.
Ship's Captain, Head Medical Officer.
Doctor, scientist, captain. About 50. Grey hair. Stern face.
A Liberty/Bretonian Doctor whose entire life has been ruined by the Nomads and their efforts to kill him. He's born the brunt of life and what can be thrown at him, including what Nomads can throw at him. He's graduated medical school, achieved advanced degrees, though he's never been able to enter the lofty upper classes, always ending up helping the poor in Leeds, or other such unfortunates. He's had a rough life, with many shattered dreams, and this has left his somewhat bitter.... but he retains his humanity and tries to teach others to respect humanity as well. He's a doctor, and that won't ever change. He has quite the revenge streak when if comes to Nomads and especially Wilde. He was also a Junker for a good stretch of time before he had to escape Liberty.
Will.
Ship's Navigator. Second in Command
Junker. Navigator. Age is undetermined. Maybe a beard, go for the mountainman look. Not too rugged...
Will is a Junker, through and through. He's rough, tough; mean, and lean. He's seen what most Junkers have seen - life on the ragged edge - and he can live it. He can thrive in it. He can force his way when he has to, using brute force, but that is not where his strength lies. He's actually a brilliant navigator, born and bred in the fields of Sigma Thirteen. He prefers to use his tongue rather than his fist when it comes to negotiations and diplomacy... though sometimes he can lose his cool and let his sarcastic and frankly rather nasty side show.
Richter.
Ship's Gunnery Commander.
Gunner. About 30. Black hair. Skinny. Not Emo.
Richter is an ex-Rheinland military weapons engineer who narrowly escaped being infested. That is all that is really known about him. He's obsessive in his work manning the weapons of the Cruiser. If he misses, he gets angry with himself. If he hits a fighter with a mortar, he acts like it was nothing. He will accept nothing but the best, and demands perfection from those who serve under him. His father was a figure in Rheinland Politics who was of some note. He was raised in a strict household.
Engineer. There isn't one.
Engineering in the ship is monitored by computer, which automatically resolves routine issues.
Richter monitors the computer from his station on the bridge.
Miles.
Ship's Communications and Sensors Engineer, Electronic Warfare Expert.
Lane Hacker. About 20. Brown/Red hair, perhaps. Glasses might be good. Maybe sharp eyes.
Miles is one of the better choices to have as a Comms officer - he's a Lane Hacker, but he's also insatiably curious. He'll track a signature down just because he's interested in it, or he'll decode Naval messages of no consequence because he's bored. He and the Doctor are the two driving forces behind the research slant of this vessel. He keeps his past a secret - not because it is painful (which it is) but because he takes things very philosophically and has a detached and scientific way of looking at things.
Mara.
Ship's Secondary Medical Officer.
Nurse. About 30. Blonde, probably.
No one really knows why Mara joined the Order. She doesn't seem to have had a bad past. She is known to have gone to Cambridge Medical School and graduated as an MD. Things would have been set for her, but she apparently randomly joined the Order, immediately becoming a medical officer on the Seker.
She's serious, professional, and competent... but she also has a looser, wilder side that comes from eight years of being at school. She and the Doctor share an antagonistic relationship, actually based on the fact that they're both rather similar. It's thought that she may have been one of his students when he taught at Cambridge.
Corsair. Affectionately called "Pickles."
The Ship's Cat.
Himalayan.
Was the sole survivor of a Liberty Carrier that was found crashed into the surface of the Dyson Sphere. Nomads didn't appear to have touched the ship for unknown reasons.
Cat was fine, and well fed.
Men were not fine.
Keep in mind that these are for signatures/a signature, so their poses should be according to what one should see on the signature.
I'll throw some pictures I've collected out there. Some I had originally planned on using for my own characters, some I just collected because I liked them. I don't expect to get all five/six, but maybe a few. Pick and choose.
(Needs the red line edited out by someone who knows how to do such things.)
' Wrote:But I think you probably have ten million from Will as a given at this point.
If only I could make regular money finding character pics, I'd never have to trade again. :P
I'll post any more of interest I might come across.
Edit: Disclaimer: I don't know if any of the pictures are already being used by someone or not... I don't recall seeing any of them, but I could be mistaken.
