I will only order from newegg due to their awesome discounts.
Recently I bought an ECS G43T-M
Has Great onboard video, but. It cannot run dragon age correctly, it has a little bit of lag ( well, it was alot worse but I changed the page file to be WAY up)
I sold my PSP for 90 bucks.
I need to know what the BEST video card is, that I can get for $90. Raedon, Nvidia. Whatever.
During christmas we were pretty poor. I was building this computer wth my dad. We had an 8800 gtx superclocked, we have had problems with before. We needed onboard video to make up for that. The video card was broken, it was overheating, we did try underclocking and re adding thermal grease.
I'd go for this: Zotac GT 240
It's generally better than the 4670 and is an overall great performer, I'd say. It should be exactly $90 or so with shipping.
I always have settled with Gigabyte and Zotac. This would be my first switch to ATI then, I have been using Nvidia. I used to have a geforce 6. Was really good, nvidia sent it to my uncle for testing, as he was the general manager for CompUSA (which has closed down D:)
I think the best idea would be to save your money for a while, and then buy a proper gamer card. Sure, the GeForce 8800 (a purely epic piece of hardware) may be expensive as hell, but once you've got that thing in your PC, you won't have to buy a new GPU for the next decade. If you buy cheap now, you'll just find yourself buying something else in a year or two to keep up with hardware requirements.
