Quote:5.9 Disconnecting from the server in a PvP fight to escape, as well as in any other situation that involves
player interaction, is not allowed. If you lose server connection during a player interaction, you should get
back in game quickly to continue the interaction, with the other player's permission. If that is not possible,
then post on the forums and PM the players involved.
We did find the apology thread, late as it was, and we were wondering just how you know the state of the
internet connection in Alaska ? Especially as, according to our records, you live no where near that particular
piece of real estate.
Dishonesty in an F1 apology thread will make it difficult for everyone else in future
If you post in this sanction and are not directly involved or a leader of the accused person's faction be advised
that you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions
up to a ban.

We are aware of the matter, and the SCRA Leaders are in agreement that this is a fair outcome. The player will be warned, and reminded of faction rules concerning sanctions. Any further sanctions will result in a dismissal from the faction.
We apologize to the players involved, and reiterate that fair-play is an SCRA objective.
I would like to state that this was entirely an accident, on my end. I lost connection right away, I am aware of the rules, understanding of them and wouldn't dare to disconnect intentionally.
I jumped from Magellan to Leeds, and crashed to desktop around the time of the white flash and system transition. I apologise to those involved, but I do not think I deserve this punishment, I came back immediately after 60 seconds and attempted to apologise. At that time, all four hostile ships fired on me, I then evaded capture (no benefit gained from my disconnect) and the gunboat kindly private messaged me.
I explained my problem and apologised, I did not think to post a thread because I already had.
I am sorry your time was wasted on this punishment, and I feel it is mighty unfair as I live by keeping the rules and and generally frightened of being punished, I do not accept that this is my fault, but I accept that maybe I could have done something more at the time to apologise.
Sorry again, I do not expect my ship back, but I do find it totally unfair that I lose an entire ship (those need reputations set by one of you guys) for a simple mistake, and considering I returned immediately.
