Uh, Sina? Tone not necessary, we're all friends here... someone asked a non-inflammatory question, a simple answer will suffice...
Since you seem incapable of just saying it without being rude, I'll step up.
If the houses accuse the Core of allying with the Corsairs, they'll go "oh we only didn't shoot them because they had too much for us to win against/they ran because they knew they couldn't beat us" or other things along the lines of plausible deniability. If they level more formal accusations, the Core will pay the IND for lawyers or something. Or just straight out bribe them, not like they're poor (warfleets aren't cheap).

As admins already stated allies of circumstance are allow and have been practiced, by just about every faction. Enemy of my Enemy is not my friend, but a lower priority target. Nothing says we have to shoot them or they us.
Aye, but he pointed his concerns towards my faction specifically so I answered him. You are right though, and I don't blame the XTF, or the indies for extracting a bit of fun out of this. :)

I actually think thats a reasonable question. The answer is that BHG hunt corsairs in Bretonia for example and any of the other Houses. Should they find them there, they are legitimate targets and the hunters will be paid.
I wonder however what the Houses would say should they see the screens of Zoners co-operating with the Coalition?
The very people who forced the exodus to Sirius?
Who killed all those people back on Earth etc.
The very people trying to overthrow these 'Houses'. Worse still, what about them co-operating with the GMG?
What would House Kusari have to say?
Especially as Corsair allies have so much power currently there. It might score as a politcal own goal, should word get out. Infact, GMG might find themselves in a difficult position all over Sirius on that score.
Finally, what would Bretonia say, seeing Outcast factions co-operating with the Coalition?
It might make their current bed sharing, 'uncomfortable'. They'd probably get away with it because of the war but I'm sure there'd be mutterings going on in the corridors of power.
I wonder what they would say when they all fought in Theta two nights ago, co-operating against a corsair battlefleet, made up entirely of corsairs.
Some of the Corsairs had very active guncams as well by the looks of things but still, no need to be paranoid eh?
Can I ask why was this brought up on forums instead of actually pm-ing respected leaders to do their job, or actually asking compensation from other side.
If I sign a pack (as Kishiro leader) with Blood Dragons and GMG that no Kishiro transport will be harmed, provided we supply them daily with at least 150 sidewinder missiles, I am sure I would ask for a big compensation from the Blood Dragons should an indie with their ID shoot one of the transports down.
I just don't get the people out here. You say you roleplay things out. No you don't, you stretch it to the furthest point OOC and discuss it, and then once everyone is confused you start to roleplay things out.
You know who I loved? There was a Zoner year ago when OPG pressed all indies to bring food to Corsairs or weed, or be destroyed. So this guy carried food from Canaria, and those superconductors back. And he was caught by indie gunboat Corsair and shot down while bringing food. Guy docked with his pod to freeport 5, sent the pictures to us and said he will need 70mil compensation to pay for the new ship, or that he'll need time to repair his.
he wasn't around for a month then. Took another route.
Now, imagine if everyone actually roleplayed this. Situation would be pretty much the same, no one trades in omegas these days, but Corsairs would be "stupid twats that failed to roleplay correctly with a nation".
Act in roleplay immediately, not week and 15 forum topics after.
This pact was actually from the 9th of July so it's already fairly old.
And at that time the BHG (I think) knew nothing about corsair were gonna have a conflict with the Zoners.
And if you ask me this whole conflict just got itself in a rapid because some battles got out of hand and people didn't recieve the information in time they should have gotten.
And I actually think the corsair are now doing a good job trying to get things better after that major slide down

Covered in paragraph 4
Quote:4) The non-agression pact shall not be vaild in any space not already mentioned, due to contracts and needs of the Corsair peoples. However, in the space mentioned it will not be rendered invalid by the actions of rebel or rogue individuals of either side. All parties retain the right to defend themselves.
We can still hunt Corsairs in Bretonian space, which is where they would be most concerned about them.
