The forums are good. Their pretty easy to navigate and their well moderated.
Don't get me wrong this isn't a problem thats majorly affecting my use of the forums. But it would make my day a whole lot better fixed. Sometimes i don't want to have to subscribe to a topic to keep an eye on what's going on when it goes off the radar, or more importantly, when i'm offline. Tracking and navigating to and from less active threads through the 'My Controls' section has been a neusance for a while now.
So i'm proposing the 'Recently Read Topics' box in My Controls remember what topics you viewed last time you were online as well as ones you've read in this session. Extending it to remember more topics would also be handy.
I just don't want to have to permanently subscribe to a topic every time i want to keep an eye on it for a short while.
You can unsubscribe to a topic by changing the tracking options in the thread. Otherwise you can just remember where the threads you last posted were in. But it's a good idea nonetheless.
Some of us don't like having millions of bookmarks. The idea wouldn't hurt a thing that I know of. Maybe a forum dude can tell us if it will do anything painful to the forums performance/storage wise.
