tracking: fail (this weapon is not ment to do anything but take out trade lanes)
explosion radius: enough to hit trade lanes if it exploded in the middle of them.
ammo cost: 1000-3000?
refire rate: 0.33?
would need to explode in the middle of lanes. not sure what the best way to do that would be. maybe change the way they look..... like a connection in the middle of all the rings. this would need to be balanced so that it had almost no pvp use except to blow up lanes.
i think the game could use one.

I dont agree, guns work fine. If you're not close enough to the lane to aim and fire guns to disrupt it, then you have less of a chance of catching any savvy trader anyway.
More to the point, by the time you've spotted someone coming down a lane, you've only got a few seconds to disrupt it before they've passed you.
its for disrputing the lane when you are still pretty far from the lane.
and i guess you have a point about the fact that isf they are that far away from you, they can get away on cruise.

I don't feel this is really needed. Maybe put it in the torp/cd slot, but not as a missile. In any case, that would be indeed a lazy trick (as mentioned above) and there wouldn't be any more fun in having teammates hold up a lane as you chase down the trader.:P
Also, it would be a little amusing seeing an unlimited supply of missiles spouting out. Who's gunna reload it? The LPI? (RP-Wise)
EDIT: *Facepalm* ... Trade Lade -Disrupter-... Oh. Well, the trade lane shield goes down pretty quick when fired upon. I would not mount such equipment like that.
