Pff, transports have enough of a hard time getting away already, pirates are far, far in advantage here...
Even the bad pirates and underquiped pirates can take down two traders.
E.g. my old Outcast Falcata bomber, Mk II Universal Armour, Wryms, and a Starkiller Torpedo that took out 2 transorts outside Allentown base in Pennsylvania.
<strike>One question, how do I install the new update?
The first 4.85 was about 90mb this one is 6mb, do i need to activate both of them or what? I don't get it. Sorry if this question is Out of topic or so.</strike>
Sorry for SPAM, just fixed it, great update by the way.:)
P.S.
When I did the Auto-Update, now I don't see the real Discoverygc Server, what's the matter?
if everything goes as planned, freelancer disco installs minor updates itself. - if that doesn t work for some reason, - you can just copy the 6 mb over the freelancer root directory - if asked about overwriting existing files, you d just need to pick "yes".
so - if anything is wrong - the best way to have a fully functional installation is to install freelancer 1.0, activate the 4.85 patch ( the major one ) - and then either let it update itself or overwrite the 6 mb patch.
when you log in - the program will check the files and will reward you with either a :
- green "installation verified" or...
- red "wrong installation" ( which will kick you automaticly to fix it )

You need to add the IP to your list, because we have recently changed IP's and the new one is not in the autoupdater yet. Look at the second post in the server status thread for instructions on how to add the new IP.
