When you have registered on a bounty board, do have to register all ships even though you are using the same character?
eg i have registered a fighter is it also necessary to register a bomber aswell?
Yes list them all together and try also to match both ship reputations, for example if you collect for X try to be green with X and red with Y if X bountied it, it is the hard part if you have 5+ bounty board and 30+ ships actually.
From my experience it is good to have different repped ships in different sectors collecting for different boards, because if you kill Y for X, X board is not affected with your rep with Z, but if you kill Z for R then you need to have Z hostile and R green, meanwhile R could be hostile with X...

It fully depends on the operator of the board. Some of them require that you merely register the character, not the ship. Others require you register the ship and character. If in doubt, PM the operator of the board.

Not really.
Even if the operator dont care at all, rule 6.10 is in place as well the bounty board rule #8 because in 95% of the cases we speak about blanket bounties. Mind that under register I dont understand posing in forums some ship type and name but making suitable repped ship/s witch will be used for bounty hunting for the board X.
TLTR version:
If you have to kill only one character then your rep doesn't matter, if you need to kill more then one character from faction X then you must be hostile to X according to the rules.

I'm not sure what your point was, no where in the Server Rules or Bounty Rules does it state you have to register each and every ship your character will be using. No where.
You'll notice I didn't say a person could ignore the rules and have messed up reputations. I said they aren't required to register each and every ship. It would seem you didn't understand the statement you quoted.
