Bonjour Mesdames et Messieurs,
I am Anton Simard, Commandant of the Council and member of the high command.
The information about the fall of Edinburgh has reached me and I hope you were be able to evacuate the system. The time to grieve for the fallen ones will come, but it is certainly not now.
We contact you to discuss how the Bretonia Armed Force plan to defend the Bretonian systems Leeds and Dublin, and how the Council can help you in that case. We currently operate in and around the Tau systems, to fight the Royal Navy whenever we can. We hope that we can coordinate our forces in the future to be able to defend Bretonia more efficient, and to strike back even harder than anyone of us could do alone.
I know that we never had that much contact and that we don't know each other that well, but in times like these, we should stand together and fight the opponent we both have. If you are interested in an cooperation between our forces, then I am looking forward to your answer.

Good evening, Commandant Simard.
I am Commodore Wilhelm Deneth Aleski, member of the Bretonian Armed Forces Admiralty Board, our military's High Command structure. I have been designated to make contact with you as representative of the BAF.
Firstly, I must apologize for the delay incurred before I could formulate a response. The situation has been fairly hectic over the last couple of days.
We are willing to cooperate with the Council in order to defeat our common foe. In times of duress and struggle such as these, cooperation is the key to victory.
This communication can be used to share intelligence between our forces regarding enemy positions, disposition and other relevant information. If you wish to contact me privately, by all means, please do so.
Her Majesty's Armed Forces view the Council as allies, indispensable friends without whom we could not achieve our goals.
Amicably,
Commodore Wilhelm D. Aleski, DSC, CAM, VB, GCA

Bonjour Commodore Aleski,
I can understand the delay, as it has been turbulent for us too in the recent days.
Although, with the decision of the Bretonia Armed Force Admiralty Board to work together with the Council against the Gallic Royal Navy I'm confident, that we can hinder said forces to breach further into Sirius.
But there is one thing I want to clarify with you and the Admiralty Board. The Council has several Cruisers and Battleships under its command, and to be able to help you against a full scale attack of the Gallic Royal Navy more efficiently we would require permission to use them in Bretonia. We are uncertain what your stance to foreign capital ships in the time of war is. But we kindly ask you to exclude us from that possible law.
We, of course, would only use them against the Gallic Royal Navy. We most certainly can prevent more casualties if we can use our full strength.

Commandant Simard,
Given the extraordinary tactical situation in which our forces are in and after brief deliberations with the Admiralty Board, we have decided to allow all Council capital ships (any combat craft larger than a fighter) full access to Bretonian sovereign territory.
The only exception is that we ask for ships not to loiter unnecessarily inside our space. This policy is mere formality and is standard with all of our allies. It makes things easier for all parties involved.
With respect,
Commodore Wilhelm D. Aleski, DSC, CAM, VB, GCA

Bonjour Commodore Aleski,
These are excellent news, I'm going to inform the local capital ship captains about the permission you gave us. Oui I will also inform them to use this communication to coordinate our war attempts. And to report any suspicious and important information regarding the Gallic Royal Navy movements.
Another question just came into my mind. "Cooperation" also means, that we can use your facilities to resupply? And maybe to transfer a squadron of lighter vessels such as fighters and bombers into Bretonia, so we can react faster?
I hope my questions are not too directly, I just want to make sure that we don't accidentally overstep our rights.
I am looking forward to your answer.

Commandant Simard,
Your light crafts are allowed to base their operations on Bretonian stations on the following conditions:
Basing operations elsewhere is logistically impossible at the time.
Use of Bretonian stations as base of anti-GRN operations is temporary (ie: Bases are to be used only when it is absolutely necessary, such as for refueling, first aid and field repair in the midst of combat engagement - this policy will be subject to modification later on.)
As always, never hesitate to contact me directly for specific issues.
Faithfully,
Commodore Wilhelm D. Aleski, DSC, CAM, VB, GCA

Bonjour Commodore Aleski,
We find this terms agreeable and the pilots of the Council forces will be informed shortly after my transmission.
Merci for the quick handling in that regard. I am really looking forward to work with the Bretonia Armed Force.
If we have any other questions, then we will either use this communication channel, or contact you personally via another communication channel.
