i just wondered - is there a deadline? - like ... 6 pages ( /40 relies ) - or 1 month... etc. after which its finally decided if a faction has the gtg or not? - cause i see faction suggestion threads pop up and digged out after quite some time.
it would be nice if there was something like a deadline - and an official announcement that ( x ) - faciton achieved the official status - ... or not ( including the reasons, cause we all like to learn from mistakes )
or maybe i m missing something? - ( i m not watching every single thread all the time... )
Not sure it should be # of pages, since if somebody's got their act together, they may not have as many comments (though more pages does NOT = poor faction proposal).
Well, I think that overall feedback which faction proposal will recive from Disco community should decide if it is approved or not. Setting up an exact number of pages when thread reaches and then recives decision would be rather artificial and immeasurable.
But on the other hand I think that 1 month could work out as a deadline for all faction proposals.
One month would work, yes.
Most of them are accepted before that anyway.. Except poor BU!
But the point is, one month is more then enough to make any decision.
So I'm all for it.
As Pandroid said, pages wouldn't really work.

I'd say it would be REALLY AWESOME if it was 30 days from start post decision is made by admins. BU have been sitting there for weeks with no needed changes, piles of good reviews, exemplary RP... where'd everyone go???
Right now it's when an Admin can get a chance to review and/or lock the thread. Sadly, this isn't the most efficient way to do it, but it's what happens now.
I'm sure the Admins do look at these, especially judging by Hood's locking of some really awful ones and the money thing too, but I know it's not just his decision.
Maybe after 30days, an admin could give it a discussion and the thumbs up or down, based on the communities words and their own.
Idling like that will make factions activity decrease dramatically and it may die out slowly (PRF for example). So it should get either an answer or at least asked for more time to decide, but dont just leave it at that.
I've had several players state they want to join when it's official (before they re-tag chars and all) and ask when will that be? I have to say "Dunno, no idea, can't say."
Been over a month now.
A structured procedure would be nice with a time line of some kind
